I will look inside your heart, and I will unleash your greatest fear upon you. (Xyz Daily) (Day 10)

Recommended Posts

"Now arm your heart! And do battle against your own feelings!" has got to be the most badass pre-battle one liner ever. This card is a mind reader (read: Hand Reader) and a wall of some sort.
You can detach 2 Xyz materials from this card to look at your opponent's hand and discard 1 card from it during the end of the turn. This effect of "Satori Maiden" can only be used once per duel. This card cannot be destroyed by battle. When this card is attacked, it's ATK is equal to the ATK of the monster attacking it. This card cannot destroy monsters by battle.
Like the title suggests, this card can look into your opponent's heart (hand) and unleash his/her greatest fear. (losing a card needed to perform a winning combo) It can take a peek at the opponent's hand and will allow the controller to adjust his/her strategy accordingly. It also stops attacks for a while, but then it will eventually be killed by card destruction effects. So as usual, Rate, Fix if broken and CnC is always welcome.

It's way too good.

It's Confiscation on legs and invulnerable to battle destruction. I'd gladly trade my resources for a free look at the opponent's hand and the choice to get rid of anything on top of that. It's far, far too good.

The fact that it's EARTH means Rock Stun could utilize it extremely well, which would allow them outs to all sorts of things. After all, if I know your entire hand, I choose the most damaging card, then go ahead and use 1-2 Mind Crush and take out more stuff. And on top of that, I still have monsters like Veiler and whatnot to counter the other plays that I choose to leave in your hand.

Alright, maybe I remove the no destruction by battle effect and nerf it's mind (hand) reading effect?

In my opinion, which is nothing more than my opinion, of course, you can do one of two things:

- Either remove the battle immunity effect entirely, give it 2000 ATK, and leave it as is.

- Make it so that the discard happens during the End Phase of the turn you detach. Make it so it activates regardless of whether or not the monster is on the field, but that way at least by the time you discard, you won't have as much of a chance to counter the opponent's plays so easily.

i would love this in my extra deck i would make such a epic anti power deck that my opponent would cry when i defeated them .... the hopeless of it all i could see a major villian use this

so far all major villians in the entire seires uses pure argo

this would be a breath of fresh air the main character be like "allright a major villlian so i need to go all out just so i can barely win with soul intact"

but then WHAM your demise

Hmm... Good point. Although that's not the purpose of making this card. The purpose of this card is to learn your opponent's strategy and then troll them accordingly.

anthor way of saying a balanced duelist

btw

argo duelist - duh

lock duelist - duh again

balanced duelist - uses a balanced deck that not more argo but not more defensive either they play in an argo mindset but they deck are set up to be flexible if they get in a jam they have a good of way of getting out of it
