I'm thinking about going caps rage on the title just to show my disappointment at YCMaker for still not having Xyz on the Card Maker, but then I decided that caps rage is immature.

Once per turn;Declare 1 Type and 1 Attribute. Until the start of your next Main Phase 1; as long as this card is Face-up on the field, neither players can Summon or activate the effects of Monsters with the Type or Attribute declared.

Stops themed decks such as Dark Worlds and my precious, precious Agents right on their tracks, at least until they got a Dark Hole or Book Of Moon, Compulsory Evacuation Device, Smashing Ground and the list goes on and on and on. With Monarch stats, it could stay on the field for quite some time. I think it's worth a spot in your Side Deck, you know, because everyone uses Dark Worlds. So as usual, rate, fix [s]my YCMaker-as-admin level of OCG[/s] if broken and CnC is always appreciated.

As far as I know, the semicolon should be after the first "Attribute", and "Once per turn" should be followed by a colon.

This can shut down whole Archetypes, as you intended, but it can also shut down basically any Deck. For starters, there's no restriction on the number of times you can use the effect, so if you can stall for one of your opponent's turns you can shut down all of your opponent's monster forms of removal.

Fighting FrogNarchs? Call Fiend and WATER to block Treeborn, Ronintoadin, Swap Frog, Snowmaneater, Battle Fader, Gorz, Tragoedia, Caius, and Sea Lancer. Fighting Chaos Dragons? Call Dragon and LIGHT--you can't activate his effect anymore, but good luck to your opponent. Fighting Wind-Ups? Call...Well, Machine and WATER will block most of the Xyz Monsters that could take this down, then the next turn you can call whatever you feel is missing.

This doesn't block Sets, so you can still use Icarus Attack and Gemini Spark...assuming those don't get blocked by Forbidden Lance, this card's best buddy. At Level 6, this card ain't Tribe-Infecting Virus. Your design succeeded.

I couldn't tell you without playtesting it; its effect is too broad. But it is "worth siding".

It's interesting, especially as sided (like newhat said), but I think it could see some mainboard play in Frog Monarchs and/or Magicals, too. It's good, balanced card design that can provide a counter to plenty of different builds.
