Malefics have always seemed super inconsistent to me as a deck. That's pretty much the only reason I disregard it. I should really test it out sometime. It's actually pretty tough to beat mostly because people he plays with tend not to have outs to a lot of his stuff. One of my best techs against that deck is Zoma the Spirit.
