As for the card however, 2 or more Materials just allows the card to milk its effect more. The absolutely insane effect is so abusive that is would would be a staple in any Deck that runs TGU. TGU has too many Xyz targets in the first place. Giving it Zenmaines was a bad idea. This, however, would be banned upon release. The defense of the card would be hard to get through, even with the overpowered decks we have nowadays. This card would be an extreme pain to get around. 6/10 A for effort, but the card is broken. [/quote] How did it "die" a long time ago? In my opinion banishing decks, also Gravekeepers still belong to anti-meta since they make massive use of the Graveyard. Synchronized Posted July 17, 2012 Report Share Posted July 17, 2012 Hold on, why in the blue hell is this broken at all? It's perfectly balanced; not even worth the space in most cases. I actually think it's extremely well designed. Visually, it's impressive (aside from the title, which looks different compared to the rest of the card ) and the picture really goes with the overall card. From there, it's nothing more than a banishing tool that requires plenty of set-up for very little reward. I could understand an argument, [i]maybe[/i], if it were a Quick Effect, it could be useful, but as is, it's just a "good" card that might be worth siding to counter Decks such as Chaos Dragons and the likes. [/quote] Oh my my my, a scrub trying to criticize a balanced card. Here's the thing, this isn't broken and you're just bad at this game. kthnxbai. But on a serious note, how would this be a "pain" to get past by? Have you been living under a rock for this entire format or something? If anything, it's only a 3k def wall that does the same job as Zenmaines, except it does it worse and therefore is a waste of Extra Deck space, unless, as a Quick effect, you might give Chaos Dragons some grief, but that's about as much this card has. tl;dr: Card isn't broken just because TGU exists.
