Luna874
The Metanical archetype is an archetype which revolves around LIGHT Machine-type monsters. This archetype is a fast paced one in that the effects of the monsters either add cards from the deck to the hand, special summon other cards, or removing cards from the field in some way. The spell/trap cards can slightly speed up the deck, and also help you control your opponent's actions in the case of Metanical Galaxy Drain and Metanical Gravity Wave. The Xyz monsters are all rank 4 Xyz monsters which require all the Xyz materials to be Metanical monsters. 2 of the Xyz monsters only needing 2 level 4 Metanical monsters whilst the boss monster requires 3 level 4 Metanical monsters. As the name implies, they are based off Meta+Mechanical which is shown in that they are all Machines, but also because they are like the meta in how they revolve around each others effects to summon 1-2 Xyz monsters in a single turn.
This card is kinda like Stratos for the Spell/Traps of the Archetype. There are only 4 targets, but considering that it can target a field spell which gives them draw power, a watered down Pot of Avarice, a watered down Cold Wave or an anti-Xyz card which bounces them to the extra deck, those targets are good. This card is similar to Hammer Shark and Summoner Monk in terms of the effect. At the cost of a spell or trap card, you can being back any level 4 Machine-type, not just Metanical monsters, making it splashable in other Machine decks. Because most archetypes always have at least 1 monster which can be splashed into at least one other type of deck. This card is the closest the archetype can get to having their own Tour Guide without being broken, but it only summons from the hand and if I am right, it's a -1 to summon a rank 4 Xyz monster, which was completely intentional. Like Tour Guide, it shares the weakness in that if it's hit by Effect Veiler, it's screwed since it can't get it's effect off. Unlike Tour Guide, it isn't completely helpless once hit by Effect Veiler since it has 400 more ATK than Tour Guide which is a considerable difference. Now THIS is the real Stratos of the deck, but it only gets it's effect off when it's special summoned. It is good with Metanical Shine Dasher or Metanical Magical Warrior, but it can get it's effect when brought out with Monster Reborn of by the effect of Metanical Dimension Sphere. It works like Meklord Army of Granel but now it can potentially reduce the monster's ATK to 0 if special summoned by another Metanical. Meaning that Magical Warrior, Shine Dasher or Dimension Sphere can activate this card's stronger effect. Meaning it can run over anything with 3000 or less ATK, or even more if the other effect is used. A Magician of Faith for the Metanicals to retrieve things like Metanical Gravity Wave or Metanical Galaxy Drain. This guy is like the one Gravekeepers card which you discard to search for Necrovalley (Commandant?) but to support Metanical Sanctuary Ark. This specifically returns Metanical Sanctuary Ark to the hand. On paper, Poison Hunter seemed better since it adds any Metanical spell/trap to the hand, but in combination with Dimension Sphere, it's far better.

This is arguably a worse Leviair, but at the same time, it's better because it can summon from the graveyard. Also, it can use up both Xyz materials in one turn by using the effect twice, something else it has over Leviair. Sadly, Leviair is easier to summon and can summon any banished level 4 or below monsters, not just Metanicals. On paper, this card could look OP. In fact, it's not...I think. Basically, it's run over by any monster which is relevant and can only be used once per turn. However, the second effect doesn't destroy, it sends the monster to the graveyard. So any effect which would prevent this card destroying monsters won't affect it. It's first effect also acts as a watered down MST now, rather than a clone of Chaos Sorcerer. One situational effect and another which can be used in any situation, but doesn't last. It's my take on the most balanced of the Metanical Xyz monsters since compared to the others, it doesn't have the power to match up to other monsters. Lucky for this card, it can become a 2600 beater at the cost of an Xyz material, but this only lasts a turn. The other effect basically trolls any Xyz monster, especially if this effect is used directly after an Xyz monster is summoned. Although, the damage should only be between 500 and 2000. The one and only boss monster of the Metanicals. Now when I first made this card, it was more broken than this card could possibly be. The fact that it used to have 3000 ATK and basically detached an Xyz material to be a clone of BLS. As for this card now, you can pay 1000 life points to either use an effect which is Compulsory Evacuation Device on steroids or an exact clone of Giant Trunade. It can only use one per turn, not both. Not to mention that it can have it's effects negated for a turn by Veiler, banished by Bottomless, or outright have it's summon negated and destroyed by Solemn Warning or Solemn Judgment.

Originally, the first part of the lore applied to both players when they summon any Xyz monster. So if your opponent Xyz summoned a monster, they would draw a card. If you did, you draw one. Now it only applies to you when you Xyz summon a Metanical monster, so it got weakened a bit. I think this is good enough of an effect. Watered down Pot of Avarice. Not much more to say on it. Although this card IS a watered down Cold Wave, it's not really watered down. It's just a harder to activate Cold Wave. To clear up lore confusion, you cannot Xyz summon a Metanical monster like Thunder Star Breaker, then activate this card. You cannot activate this card on the turn you Xyz summon. You can however, Xyz summon a monster, then play this on your next turn. It also costs an Xyz material to use so if you don't have an Xyz material on that Xyz monster, this card cannot be activated. How this card works is that if something like Utopia would negate the attack using it's effect, you play this card to banish it entirely. It used to just return it to the extra deck, but I think banishing the Xyz would be much better.

Dr. Cakey
Not sure why people are ignoring you, this is a well put together archetype. My complaints are about Metanical D2 Rainbow and Metanical Galaxy Drain for being too weak, and Metanical Blaze Burner. Actually, Sanctuary Ark as well. D2 Rainbow is a +1 to the opponent. Totally not worth using the effect. Might I suggest this effect:
When this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can target 1 other face-up "Metanical" monster you control; All monsters your opponent currently controls lose ATK equal to the targeted monster's ATK (until the End Phase? until your next Standby Phase?).
Galaxy Drain is just Divine Wrath, but Xyz and archetype-specific. Very bad. Granted it returns to the Extra Deck, but that's arguably better since the monster can now be summoned again. Blaze Burner is probably not OP'd because it's archetype-specific, but you seem obsessed with making it work for every situation, so it can either send to the grave or banish. Just pick one - probably the sending. This deck should be pumping at least one Xyz Monster per turn with extreme consistency, which means I'm drawing at least 1 extra card per turn. This is massive resource gain. This is not a card that should be protecting itself in any way.
Luna874
I removed the protection effect, since I didn't realise how much of an advantage you could get with Metanical Sanctuary Ark. I made D2 Rainbow much stronger by changing it so that it doesn't give your opponent a free card anymore, but if it was special summoned by the effect of another Metanical monster, it reduces the selected monster's ATK to 0 (permanently). Though there are only 3 cards which can actually special summon other Metanicals, Dimension Sphere, Shine Dasher and Magical Warrior are the only 3 which can activate that other effect. Blaze Burner now destroys spell or trap cards rather than banishes, but I feel destroying backrow is something this archetype needed which other archetypes have at least 1 card to do that. Now Galaxy Drain acts as a combination of Divine Wrath and Bottomless Trap Hole, which is the main reason why I removed Blaze Burner's banishing effect rather than the sending monsters to the graveyard effect. The banishing from the hand cost isn't really a cost because of Dimension Sphere can special summon those banished monsters...and It can potentially summon another Xyz monster using it's effect alone. Added 3 new monsters: Metanical Holy Mech, Metanical Gem Berserker and Metanical Poison Hunter. All three support the Metanical spells and Metanical Galaxy Drain.
