宇佐見 蓮子@C94
I don't know if I've said this enough times already, but I f***ing love Agents. In fact, I love them so much, I quit playing Yu-Gi-Oh entirely when Earth got Limited. So, after my failed Agent Support in Xyz Daily #20, I decide to have a crack at it again with a Synchro.
1 LIGHT Fairy-type Monster + 2 or more LIGHT Fairy-type Monsters Once per turn; you can send 1 Face-Up "The Sanctuary In The Sky" you control to the graveyard to add 1 "Agent" Monster from your deck to your hand. If you control a Face-up "Agent" Monster, you can add 1 "Master Hyperion" instead. When this card Battles, you can place 1 Cage Counter on the attack target before Damage Calculation. A Monster with a Cage Counter on it cannot declare an attack, cannot be destroyed by battle and is always treated as a LIGHT Fairy-Type Monster while it is Face-Up on the field. Once per turn; If a card(s) are to be Banished from the Graveyard by your card effect, you can change the target to a monster with a Cage Counter on it instead. You can tribute this card and an "Agent" Monster you control to reveal the top card of your deck. If the revealed card is a LIGHT Fairy-Type Monster, you can Special Summon it in Face-Up Attack Position.
Well it looks like... *puts on sunglasses* The Agents have captured their targets. YEEEEEEEAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! So as usual, rate, fix [s]my LOLOCG[/s] if broken and CnC is always appreciated.
InSaNiTyVoid
Hello, first of all: I can read the words (i read a lot at night) but not perfectly. No rep desired. Onto the card: I don't know very much about the Agents, but I looked up some on the wikia. I would say the card is pretty balanced, since you have to send Sanctuary In The Sky to the grave to get the cards in your hand. But for the Cage Counters, I think you left something out. I believe that either Angel of Malevolence - Sariel should not be destroying cards by battle (so that there can still be monsters on the field with Cage Counters) or explain that placing the Counter is done instead of Damage Calculation (for the same reason). As for OCG, just some capitalization errors (I might be wrong about these) I believe Monster should be monster, and Banished should be banished. Just my honest opinion, love the card though. 宇佐見 蓮子@C94
Naaah. I keep my word. Here, a rep. Anyway, I fixed the Cage Counter issue you brought up. I originally wanted to include it in the original effect, but I'm not sure how it's worded. Thanks for the comment, man.
InSaNiTyVoid
Gah. >.< Well thank you anyway. No problem at all, and that wording seems ok (to me, again I may be wrong) it keeps the monster on the field so that should work.
宇佐見 蓮子@C94
If you don't mind, can you give my card a rating? I haven't had a card rated since, well, the first edition of Xyz Daily.
InSaNiTyVoid
Oh, ok sure. Rating: 8/10 Rating Breakdown(just how I do it in my head): Name: 2/2 Picture: 1/1 Originality(mostly effect-based): 4/5 OCG: 1/
Zelfore
Reading such small text wasn't easy, but I managed.
As for OCG, just some capitalization errors (I might be wrong about these) I believe Monster should be monster, and Banished should be banished.
This is true. I noticed an uncapitalized "tribute" in there, and I'm pretty sure the "always" isn't necessary. The card's balanced enough, and I see no real way it can be horribly abused or anything. For the record, the monster with the "Cage Counter" is still likely to be destroyed (or vice-versa) before you can use your effects. I've never played Agents myself, so I can't say how easy it is to summon, but it seems doable and fair. I can't rate this yet, for I've not perfected my own rating system at this current time. But giving a quick judge overall, I'd guess it's worth about a 7.3-7.8 in the support category. So a good card with the need of some minor touching up. Love of Ghibli
As a person who still plays Agents I have mixed feelings about this. On the one hand its searches for agents from the deck...but its a level nine and its sychro requirements scream Earth+Venus+2 Shine Balls....So what am I going to search for? The option of getting hyperion to hand is nice but I can't see how there would be another agent on the field after you made it (well I guess you could summon another one then use its effect but..meh) Second it promotes the use of Sanctuary...Oh sadness of the field that is Sanctuary, if Sanctuary was good then this would be better however Sanctuary is not a good field spell (hurts me to say that) therefore the first sentence (and I guess second sentence of this effect is moot) Third the cage counter ability is...interesting to say the least. I mean I like that Hyperion becomes some form of Vaskii and simply activating his effect turns from a +0 to a +2 however having to attack with it seems slow (then again that might just balance it lol). The main problem I have with the card is that being a level 9 means you pretty much have to compare it to trish and mist wurm which were and are perfect for agents because they sent 4 fairies to the grave (krystia) and the second they hit the field they instantly got rid of up to 3 problems for you. This thing doesn't seem to do that it just hopes it can possibly solve a problem for you in the future. I suggest doing away with the first two effects, this thing takes up so many resources the way the banlist is set up now you pretty much used up all of your targets you searched for. Then either summon and drop cage counters on monsters or once per turn put a cage counter on a monster that way this thing gets stopped by less stuff. Or as I just realize this you could drop the level that would make it a lot easier to deal with since agents don't have a good level 7 option. I'm a little off put about the name too Agents are planet based so naming it Sariel doesn't make sense to me or maybe I'm missing something. P.S. It took me a minute to get over the fact that Earth had been hit while that DW foolish remained unchecked. Long live the light.
