Advanced Clause Stole The (Un)Precious RC Comments. (Xyz Daily) (Day 25)

Title. Basically, before Advanced Clause exists, RC was filled with newbs making horrendously stupid 1 line reviews. But the place was brimming with life and activity, so everyone was happy, except for one member whose name-shall-not-be-spoken. But then Advanced Clause came along and all the newbs who can't make proper card reviews are forced out of the RC. Of course, right now, Advanced Clause is out of effect, but still, the newbs didn't come back, didn't they? Quick history lesson done, let's get on with the card, shall we?

When a Monster you control destroys a Monster by battle, you can Detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; Special Summon the destroyed Monster to your side of the field in Face-Up Defense Position. The Special Summoned monster cannot be used as Synchro Material, it's effect(s) are negated and it cannot declare an attack. When this card attacks; it gains the total ATK of all the monsters Special Summoned by this cards effect.

As for the card:

It can get Xyz'd with Scape goat for 4 materials. a requires a fairly strong card on the field to actually use its effect to full extent. I just have a feeling there will be a point where it hits critical mass, and suddenly become way to much to handle. But... that's unlikely to happen, and on 2 materials, unless you get very lucky, it's hard to turn it into a kind of God. I think you should do half the attack. If you think about this working along side blade armour Ninja for example? it can get a big big boost in a single turn. And still attack itself in the same turn, meaning that its gotten 3 powers ups in a single turn.

How exactly would you plan to use this card? If you summon it with Scapegoat or any tokens, it won't have any materials to detach, so thats pretty crappy, you just got a 1000 ATK monster to your side of the field, not very exciting. If you plan to use it with 2 level 4s, you take 2 monsters from the opponent, but they can only be used as tributes (or I suppose as cards for such things as Creature Swap). It seems like the chances of you ever using that is very close to 0, unless you are playing a Monarch-ish Deck.

Except it starts with lower ATK, but has the potential to gain more ATK per monster killed, and can trigger off of when you kill their monster with ANY of yours, not just it.

In a monarch deck it gets a bit of a boost because you can use the stolen monsters as tributes.

Overall, I think it is UP'd. Too much competition for Rank 4 Xyzs, only really makes the cut in Monarchs and they don't play many Level 4 Monsters anyways. Also, the token effect is sort of... bullshit nobody will ever summon it that way because you cant detach any material for its effects.

Whelp. This is actually the second time in a row my Xyz Daily card is UP'd. I should probably get back to making toolbox multi-purpose cards. Anyway, removed the Xyz by Token and made the SS'd monsters usable for Xyz.

Usable for Xyz makes a big difference. I mean -big-. Allowing that could ALMOST make the card broken, but well designed cards are always almost broken, but not quite .

The problem is though, that it still seems sort of bland. I take a monster, gain its ATK, but this can only be done twice. Mind if I made a suggestion? You can make it into a combo card, and also a potential for godliness, if you did the following:

Attempted to clean up the wording a bit as well.
Why do I say this? Because, well, it is a bit new (there are not many cards that allow you to use your opponent's monsters as material) and you can this way keep on attaching monsters to this card so it can keep on growing, there is no arbitrary limit of 2 times the effect can be used. Also, it can combo with other Xyzs and provide them with more material, should you need it. I am sorry if I changed the effect of the card too much, but I was trying to stay true to your theme of (1) using the opponent's monsters against them and (2) gaining the ATK of the destroyed monsters.

Mmhmm. Yeah, your effect looks much nicer and would have better use in today's meta. I'll keep that in mind, but for now, thanks for the comment.
