When Special Summoned this way, activate the appropriate effect, based on the type of Special Summon: ● Inherent Special Summon: Return the Special Summoned monster to its owner's hand. ● Effect Special Summon: Negate the effects of all face-up monsters until the End Phase. Great against those pesky first-turn-derpadoos! Against Wind-Ups, spin their Zenmaines! Against Rescue Rabbits... either hope they summon Laggia and spin, or just get a 2500 beatstick out ready to kill it next turn! Against Inzektors, they can't blow any more of your cards up! newhat Posted July 29, 2012 Report Share Posted July 29, 2012 It's not like Gorz, where your opponent has everything set up before you can drop it and you have to fight your way out. You can use Cardcar D, draw into this card, then when your opponent Special Summons, kill all their momentum. You don't need to take damage, so you can easily pull the effect off three times in a Duel and still have LP to spare for Gorz and Solemns. The only reason I did not is because the effect was getting ridiculously long. And what do you mean by killing all their momentum? I suppose Laggias and Wind-Up loops are something to protect at all costs, lest the game actually take some skill? And honestly. Gorz rewards you for taking a hit and still can get run over. This is just a giant hand trap (I believe that is the term now) that puts an abrupt stop to mostly all plays. If not more.[/center] [/quote] People need to think before Special Summoning, just like they need to think before attacking. I suppose the ATK points do not need to be there in order for that to happen. However, it needs to at least be able to block a centipede.
