During your opponent's Main Phase, when they activate an Effect Monster's effect: You can discard this card; target 1 Effect Monster's effect they activated during that Main Phase. During your next Main Phase: Banish this card from your Graveyard; activate target Effect Monster's effect. You can only activate these effects of "Cranial Zapper" once per turn.

I intended to use it like this:

Opponent activates Pot of Duality -> You Chain this card.
Next Turn -> Main Phase -> Banish from Grave -> Activate Duality's effect once.

OR

Opponent activates REDMD -> You Chain this card.
Next Turn -> Main Phase -> Banish from Grave -> Activate REDMD's effect once.

OR

Opponent activates Ultimate Offering (main Phase) -> You Chain this card.
Next turn -> Main Phase -> Banish from Grave -> Activate Ultimate Offering's effect once.

Benefits of doing this? You can activate a second "Pot of Duality" since you only activated its effect, AND you can Special Summon since you didn't activate "this card" named "Pot of Duality", etc, etc.

Downfall of activating effects like this? It's rather slow, and D.D. Crow, Retiari, even Darkflare as well as other cards can banish this card from the Graveyard easily, and once its banished that way, the effect can't play off.

As for it sounding weird...any suggestions or is it "technically correct"? >_<

So it's a Diamond Dude/Phantom of Chaos hybrid hand-trap, but you can copy any activated effect with Cranial Zapper as a "cost"? And if you can target things that are no longer on the field but have been used earlier --

Broken beyond belief. At least Diamond Dude and Phantom of Chaos limit you to your own deck.

Once-per-duel restrictions won't work: you ultimately have the choice to drop this card, which means you will drop this only if you can ensure maximum use from whatever effect your opponent decides to activate. The once-per-duel restriction forces you to choose when to drop this, but that is all.

Still broken beyond belief.
