It gives too much of a reward for a miniscule investment. Dark Armed Dragon - This and Future Fusion in my opinion are the problems in Chaos Dragons, since you can OTK fairly easily with this card. It also becomes a win condition in any dark deck. It's also searchable. Elemental HERO Stratos - It's too recyclable to exist anymore. The existance of Bubbleman + Xyzs only make this card worse. Without Stratos Bubblebeat can still be a deck, but with slightly less consistency. Inzektor Hornet - This card shouldn't exist. I'm fine with Dragonfly or Centipede with Ladybug, but designing a card that punishes your opponent from trying to set up is a really bad idea. Morphing Jar - It really only exists for Empty Jar, which is a lame solitaire deck. Wind-Up Hunter - It only exists for the hand loop. You could argue that this card should not be banned because I limited Zenmaity, but there's still the potential recycling of Zenmaity and other factors. This card is just bad design on its own. Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier - Promotes loops and OTKs, and with it gone Zombies can be given a bit more space. T.G. Hyper Librarian - Shouldn't exist. Lavals are still a deck under this list and Spore is back, so it's for the best to keep this at one. Constellar Ptolemys Messier 7 - Only really exists to loop cards. Bad design to begin with and is literally broken open in almost any deck that can summon level six monsters. Gaia Dragon the Thunder Charger - Poor card design. Takes the concept of drawbacks for high rank Xyzs and throws it out the window. Plus without it the Hieratic OTK is extremely hindered. Card Destruction - Lame OTK card that generates a plus everything. Gateway of the Six - Lame OTK card that generates a plus everything. Future Fusion - Lame OTK card that generates a plus everything. Limiter Removal - Random lame OTK card that serves no other purpose but to OTK or set off Meklords, but if you use this to set off Meklords you shouldn't be playing Yu-Gi-Oh! Mind Control - Becomes more abusable with Xyzs. Shouldn't be sticking around. Monster Reborn - I want to reduce the amount of staples in the format. This is the staple to hit. Pot of Avarice - Has been broken open too many times in the past year. Royal Tribute - Gishki loop and Wind-Up loop don't deserve to exist, why should this card exist? Limited: Atlantean Seahorseman - While I don't feel like this is enough, the deck is still new and should still be given some time to be used to its potential. Limiting this prevents abuse and realistically only gives them one Undine search per game. Grapha, Dragon Lord of Dark World - This card's discard effect is actually pretty unfair, especially when used multiple times in one game. In a slowed down format this deck can cause several problems, and a player should not have to deal with multiple Graphas on the board. While you can argue that this kills the deck due to D.D. Crow or some bad s***, Trance Archfiend and even Dimensional Alchemist (if you're that desperate) exist and can give the card more value. Judgment Dragon - Like how you shouldn't have to deal with multiple Graphas, Judgment Dragon follows suit. A boss monster that rewards you for playing Yu-Gi-Oh! isn't good design at all. Magician of Faith - This card is too slow to cause immediate damage to the format and Monster Reborn is gone, so there's no reason why this card can't go to one. Rescue Rabbit - At one, it can still support decks like Gem-Knights and V-Hero, and with Tour Guide also at one Leviair won't be seen too often. Tour Guide From the Underworld - I feel like Sangan is worth keeping around and Tour Guide should be at one. It allows value in decks that focus around its targets while preventing itself from being one of the best toolboxes the game has ever seen. Evigishki Gustkraken - At one, this card can't be looped back and forth, especially with Ptolemys gone. One Day of Peace - Best stall card in the game shouldn't be at three. Rekindling - Lavals can still be playable, but only have one push available to them. Six Samurai United - With less explosive decks existing I feel that Six Samurais will be a problem in this format, and Pot of Greed that rewards you for putting your hand on the table isn't a good idea. Ultimate Offering - Gadgets, Madolches, etc, this card is too consistent at two. Semi-Limited: Blackwing - Gale the Whirlwind - Gale doesn't cause that much damage at two in the first place. Debris Dragon - Doesn't cause much damage at two either. Promotes the idea of non-archetype engines and generates creativity. Mezuki - Same as above. Brionac is at zero so the OTK potential that Zombies could have is lowered. T.G. Striker - T.G. Agents get back Earth and this, but how are T.G. Agents relevant? The Agent of Mystery - Earth - I feel that two Earths is the right number, not as consistent as three and not as awful as one. If anything I'd hit Hyperion if this proves to be a problem. Wind-Up Carrier Zenmaity - Even without Hunter, having access to three Zenmaities is stupid. Having two can still let you OTK though, so this might go to one. Mystical Space Typhoon - I think two is the perfect number for this card. Even if the third can be replaced by Night Beam or Dust Tornado, this card still has more versatility than either. Reinforcement of the Army - Allows for innovation. There aren't really any problems that this thing can search, especially if Stratos is banned. Mirror Force - Torrential Tribute is at two, why should this still be at one? Unlimited: Lumina, Lightsworn Summoner - This card wouldn't cause any damage at three, especially with Judgment Dragon gone. Plaguespreader Zombie - There isn't much reason as to why this card should be at one. Same reasoning as Mezuki for the most part. Spore - #plantsynchro Summoner Monk - Won't cause any damage at three and allows for possible engines in creative decks. Tsukuyomi - Isn't as bad as it used to be. Can be teched in some lower decks like Gravekeeper and Evol as well, or some other creative decks. Cool card that doesn't really bring any problems to the game outside of that shitty three card lockdown that sucks. Formula Synchron - I see little reason as to why this should be at one with Glow-Up Bulb and Hyper Librarian gone. Destiny Draw - Stratos is banned if that means anything. No reason why this shouldn't be at three. Emergency Teleport - Again, allows for innovation and doesn't cause damage. Primal Seed - f*** traditional format. Scapegoat - Cool ass card to have at three. Skillful card that's used to its maximum potential in the hands of a good player. Shien's Smoke Signal - Six Samurai could be as consistent as they want, I don't care as long as Gateway and United are hit.

It gives too much of a reward for a miniscule investment. IMHO, it can stay. It's not doing anything as bad as expected, but if it goes I wouldn't be surprised. Dark Armed Dragon - This and Future Fusion in my opinion are the problems in Chaos Dragons, since you can OTK fairly easily with this card. It also becomes a win condition in any dark deck. It's also searchable. Not on the same page as you. Outside of Chaos Dragons, he's not affecting the meta. Also, it's not entirely common for Chaos Dragons to really use him Inzektor Hornet - This card shouldn't exist. I'm fine with Dragonfly or Centipede with Ladybug, but designing a card that punishes your opponent from trying to set up is a really bad idea. IMHO, I'd put it @1. Morphing Jar - It really only exists for Empty Jar, which is a lame solitaire deck. So that's a reason to ban it? As you said, it only exists in Empty Jar. So shut up. Wind-Up Hunter - It only exists for the hand loop. You could argue that this card should not be banned because I limited Zenmaity, but there's still the potential recycling of Zenmaity and other factors. This card is just bad design on its own. ...I'm on the side saying that Hunter isn't really a problem. Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier - Promotes loops and OTKs, and with it gone Zombies can be given a bit more space. ...and the death of Synchro's is nearly complete. =/ T.G. Hyper Librarian - Shouldn't exist. Lavals are still a deck under this list and Spore is back, so it's for the best to keep this at one. I'd like to disagree, but Spore is a thing... Card Destruction - Lame OTK card that generates a plus everything. I never really see it OTK...ever. I see it used in DW, but they're falling quickly. Even then, I often see them not even using it. Limiter Removal - Random lame OTK card that serves no other purpose but to OTK or set off Meklords, but if you use this to set off Meklords you shouldn't be playing Yu-Gi-Oh! You missed the whole Gadget part Limited: Grapha, Dragon Lord of Dark World - This card's discard effect is actually pretty unfair, especially when used multiple times in one game. D.D Crow beats DW by itself now. DW don't run Alchemist, and really wouldn't like it. Trance is...iffy Judgment Dragon - Like how you shouldn't have to deal with multiple Graphas, Judgment Dragon follows suit. A boss monster that rewards you for playing Yu-Gi-Oh! isn't good design at all. ...what deck still runs JD that actually is meta? Magician of Faith - This card is too slow to cause immediate damage to the format and Monster Reborn is gone, so there's no reason why this card can't go to one. Dark Hole. Heavy Storm. Other random BS. Tour Guide From the Underworld - I feel like Sangan is worth keeping around and Tour Guide should be at one. It allows value in decks that focus around its targets while preventing itself from being one of the best toolboxes the game has ever seen. iirc, the only reason Sangan was being run again was being of TGU. Otherwise, it had been losing favor slowly for years. I do agree with the limit, however One Day of Peace - Best stall card in the game shouldn't be at three. I'd rather see it banned. Unlimited: Lumina, Lightsworn Summoner - This card wouldn't cause any damage at three, especially with Judgment Dragon gone. I'd adore this if not for the fact that JD is gone. Again, what meta deck runs JD? Formula Synchron - I see little reason as to why this should be at one with Glow-Up Bulb and Hyper Librarian gone. Because randomly drawing cards and making black rose during your opponent's turn is still evil? idk. Scapegoat - Cool ass card to have at three. byak
I like how almost everyone who sees scapegoat at three automatically assumes the person who wrote the banlist is trying to bring back goat format. and even then, bringing back a format similar to goat format isn't a bad idea at all. Dementuo
I'm all for slower formats. The game is basically Rock-Paper-Scoop right now.
werewolfjedi
the lower level sycnhros that are broken are gone yes, but un-limiting and seming the tuners that got the limit increases sycnrho summoning strength to a very high level, gonna see dragon plant plauge synchro because of that in this format. I can see that as a very strong deck.
Wildflame
See, this is the kind of wacky lists I don't like. Not saying that a format like this wouldn't be fun, but I think that hitting everything and their mothers is not the solution.
.Rai
Pfft, I've never understood the principle behind hitting non-meta decks in banlists, and then completely ignoring alternate wins. Ban Countdown and stuff for the sake of it. Even though it probably won't top without 3 One Day of Peace. A lot of it is...interesting, I guess, but I see no major problems at all really. From a design point of view, it's good. It's a pretty non-restrictive banlist when it comes to deckbuilding random rogue decks and stuff.

Coffee Black
Stratos banned? Is bubblebeat really tier 1?
