Then let Volt Hero Save the day!

Flip: Add one Thunder-Type monster from your Deck to your hand (except for "Volt Hero"). While you control another face-up Thunder-Type monster, this card can attack your opponent's life points directly.

OT: Thanks for the comment. It was originally a tuner, do you think I should change it back?

Xyz Potential, Synchro Potential, Rai-Oh Shenaniganz, Watt Shenaniganz... Well, this card does have a lot of uses, I must say. The second effect isn't all that nice IMO. I think you should change it back to a Tuner, you know, to make it even better.

Ahha! Wats! I didn't think anybody would find my real purpose xD
(I made it attack directly for my Watt / Robbin Goblin hilarity deck.)

If you're going to make it work with Watts, here's a suggestion: Make it's name "Watt Hero" and make it so that he can be treated as a level 2 while face up. Just a suggestion though.

I don't want it to be just another archetype card, though. I dont want to discriminate between Thunder Type Cards at all, whether explicitly or implicitly. Also, the fact that it works with Thunder Dragon is funny :)

Fine, I understand. Still a pretty nice card though.

Something tells me those new thunder monsters are gonna love this card....especially Thunder Seahorse

I agree. I'm making my own set of DARK Thunder-Type monsters as well. I love thunder, anti-meta, always will be.

DEF is too high. I don't like my Flip monsters to be walls; if you're gonna do something important, you might as well perish in the attempt. But then again, I'm more a fan of Ryko than of Snowman Eater.
Thats really bad reasoning. A flip effect wall is good design since it helps you set up while stalling the opponent. More so, it increases player to player interface, much like Snowman Eater, Evoltile Westlo, and several others do.

-.-
All flip effect monsters that are supposed to increase field presence have a high DEF. Gravekeeper's Spy, Snowman Eater, etc... thats sort of the whole point of the card.

This is also incorrect. Flip Effect monsters are exactly what they are: Flip Effect Monsters. Its not that they should have high/low defense, its that they are a unique game mechanic that provide for several form of combos and other factors. Ryko is a low Defense Flip Effect Monster that destroys and mills, giving potential Grave advantage. Snowman Eater tries to keep field presence. Similarities between the two? They both destroy cards. And this is just 1 example of many.

Your monster adds hand advantage with effective deck thinning and if it survives, can also find its way as an unprecedented attacker.

Snowman eater = field presence
In order to keep field presence you need a large defense.
I never said all flip effect monsters need a high defense, I just said the ones that are used to maintain field presence need a high DEF.
