This isnt compleeetely finished yet but there wont be many more cards entering the archetype. Bobbyman46 Posted August 18, 2012 Report Share Posted August 18, 2012 This archetype is so ridiculous. Most of the Spells and Traps are not so great, but the trap card is ridiculously broken. The monsters basically have the same gameplay as Six Samurai and the fact that the searcher and Sanjuro can special summon the rest of the level 6's is so stupid. This deck would be ridiculous. Make more balanced monsters. The fact that both level 6's can do stupid things when they destroy a monster. And they're warriors which give them even more support. Veterans are SO ridiculous :/) Well , It wasn't necessary to look at the whole Set to say that it needs lots of Improvement, BUT I'm not the one that's most indicated to it :s But I'll try to help wherever I can. FIRST of all, Archetypes are, NECESSARILY, focused on 1 or 2 niches (Destroying monsters, lowering level , Fusion Summon ... Increasing ATK .. etc.) You MUST chose what your Set will be focused in... By your work I see that you are trying to focus on Filling your field with "Slayer" Monsters... Well Keep on that then. But remind this, the only way to improve is to practicing. SO make your cards and have fun There is lots of Clubs on CLUBS & ORGANIZATIONS Section that could help you but I'm not sure if its legal to advertise them here :s Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Anyways, I have to agree with Bobbyman46, the monsters are broken as f***. Seriously, either get Kaede to the Graveyard or Normal Summon it, search for either Sanjuro, Hikari or Orochi, or Normal Summon Sanjuro, SS Kaede, search Hikari or Orochi, SS Hikari or Orochi, Xyz into Blade Armor Ninja. Resulting field is either Kaede on the field with Hikari / Orochi / Sanjuro in hand, ready to be Summoned, or a face-up Blade Armor Ninja and a 2400 / 2500 beater. Yeah, that's broken man, and honestly, the only way you could balance that is to make Kaede search only when you Special Summon it, and make the search only Level 4 or lower, and quite possibly not have Sanjuro SS from the Graveyard, as that's such an easy place to get cards into. Because what you said is just pointless and doesnt actually help me also i actually said MYSELF that its meant to be six samurai style play if you are going to criticize be CONSTRUCTIVE not just answer for the sake of it. And also there are two traps there which one are you even talking about @Nightwing im not sure i understood your post fully tbh xD but the idea is xyz summon for toshiro who forces attacks and Iru who is defensive, destruction effs and benefits from destroying which is why they are "ManSlayers" and like you say obviously swarming the field. Think yourself: You put your very efforts on a Set and try to take the best of you to someone call it "ridiculous". How would you fell like? Love of Ghibli Posted August 19, 2012 Report Share Posted August 19, 2012 *Reads this thread* Do not understand the need for all of this....discussion First this is INFINITELY better than the draco..draconis, something set that was done earlier. Maybe because you used an existing archetype as a starting out point but anywho let us continue. Thanks to w/e edits were made the effect monsters are not that broken to me so lets just get to the things I define problematic. Iru: I love its design, the only problem to me is that it promotes stalling, A catastor kills automatically but still its a stall card. Toshiro: Its detaching ability is awful and you had to know it would never be used 500 points of damage is quite literally nothing. That and its Patrician of Darkness fused with Avenging Knight Parshath effect is too good to be free. I believe the switching and choosing attack targets should cost a material and you can just omit the first line with the damage. Uther: So chaos overlay over Toshiro...Well as Toshiro is currently that's three free material. You never say where you should add the level 4 "Slayer" from, but that's fine because I feel that part of the card should be omitted anyway so that summoning this giant isn't an auto +1 (that and it just seems to be a random effect stemming from nothing). As for the negation bullets...well that's actually fine if you get rid of that whole banish a monster part. Dishonor: Everything after the or should stay...What situation are you going to swing because you know you can't kill it without some pretty gutsy set-up. 1st rule: No, this needs to be redone all together it is far to Underpowered, it looses to Rush recklessly!! 3rd: Its just damage not direct damage Glade: I like the boost, the coin flip is random ( and that whole summon piece is worded wrong) but its not unbalanced. As for the last part...considering how blatantly horrific the first rule is, this effect should never see fruition, however the ability to special summon two level 6's from the deck is way overpowered. It two bosses from the deck for no cost, which of course leads to straight to Uther. Well a meta player would make photon strike bouncers and such but still its too much for nothing. And i had know idea i didnt specify for Uthers eff o.O ive made edits to all the cards you mentioned and hopefully i've raised the power of 1st rule a bit but not made it too crazy.
