ihop
Bubblebeat, Deck Profile is in Your Deck It's the exact same tournament as Saberzauls', basically it is the better portion of our locals as well as some really good players e.g. Jake Quinsee who only came once but qualified. So, on with ze tournament.
Round 1: (Samurai) Game 1: I open Stratos, Alius and 2 Bubbleman and by the time I get all the monsters out of my hand he has Shi-En and like 4 backrows that I can't get over. Game 2: This time I draw no monsters although opening Spark and 2 Hero Blast ): 0-1 Round 2 (Lightsworn) Game 1: He never really gets his stuff off fast enough and Bottomless to hit the sole BLS is enough to kill him Game 2: I open double Thunder King which put him under great distress as I can negate both his JDs. He then tries to summon BLS but I have Bottomless so he scoops. 1-1 Round 3 (Dark World) Game 1: He never really gets much and I have Bottomless for his Grapha Game 2: He Chain Disappearances my Bubbleman which displeases me as I'd set a Mask Change the same turn. I have a great issue drawing into monsters, the only one I do draw is off DWD when I have no cards in hand. Thankfully he lets slip he has Card Destruction so I keep to 0 cards in hand until he gets frustrated and pitches it with Dealings. I have Bottomless for 1 Grapha and DP for another so eventually I win. Dunno why people say the deck's good though, from what I saw it's terrible. 2-1 Round 4 (Mirror) Game 1: He has 3 sets but I have Spark and Lance and easily beat him. Game 2: The game grinds on, eventually he Reborns my Shining, leaving him on 3000 after Solemning, and me with an Alius and him with a Shining. I have one backrow. So I discard Puppet Plant, take his Shining, lance my Alius when he has D Prison and win Puppet is such a better card than Kinetic in Heroes. 3-1 Round 5 (Samurai) Game 1: He can go off with Samurais and I have no response. Game 2: United, Dojo and Gateway is nothing if I have Solemn Judgment set for his only monster. Game 3: The game goes on for a while until I eventually lose when he drops Gorz. Gorz in Samurai? 3-2 Round 6 (Glad Beasts) Game 1: I Mask Change into Vapour which gives hum trouble as he has Test Tiger but Murmillo is no use and he then tops Smash Game 2: He Solemns my Skill Drain for some reason, I then Use Hero Lives and Solemn it through, meaning I win with Blade Armour. I end the game on 1175 LP o.O So it's top 8 of 34 and naturally I come 9th. Gaah. At least I got decent prize support and pulled that Catastor rank 6 thing in the new set. Also Saberzauls, my teammate got top 4 as you may or may not know.

b0b3rt
Yeah I was going to mention that but saw I got sniped. As for DWs, the reason everybody predicted they would be tier 1 this format is because the format is slower than the last one and the deck gives a lot of other decks trouble game 1. Of course it gets raped in the side by DDCrow, Fissure, Macro, Shadow-Imprisoning, Bottomless, D-Prison, nowdays Soul Drain, etc. Of course now that all the terrible players are netdecking former DW tops, the good players get caught up in mirror matches where they lose if they go first and drop a Card Destruction.
Even better he won because of it! Irony. Also Kaba you would've been 8th had one other random person won one more game than he did. Sucks right? Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
I loved Dark Worlds back in the day. They ran like they were supposed to, and were about minor beatsticks or some control with certain techs. Now they're "DRAW UNTIL I GET GRAPHA AND DESTROY THE ONLY CARDS YOU CAN USE TO BEAT ME WITH IT AND DRAGGED DOWN. GG." It's also funny that people used to tell me that Dragged Down was the worst card to use in Dark World back in the day, but now it's "OMG GREST". Lonk
I find it weird how the only decks you lost against were Six Sams.
It's a terrible matchup in a Deck that runs 8 monsters and 20+ cards that become dead when Beast's out. Also Enishi is a pain in the arse.
