Agro
So we have a YCS on the first day of the new format. Aint that something? Keeping tabs on this one, seeing as we'll probably get a hint at what decks are where better than most people's locals or regionals.
Shark_
No, we won't have anything from it. People there are saying that almost all the decks played are Wind-Ups or HEROes. Waiting for a YCS where a deck isn't strongly overrepresented would be better.

EDIT: Top 16: Wind-Ups 5 EHERO 4 Dino Rabbit 2 Geargia 2 Burn 1 TeleGrand 1 Dark World 1 So HERO and Wind-Up in there more because of everyone playing it, but Geargia and Rabbit @2 makes things interesting. I bet Rabbit gets bad hands and loses in the last few rounds though.
mido9
So who expected wind ups to still be awesome? They still had shark+magician for an instant out to any field, tour guide and rat for topdeckable win conditions, factory to fuel everything for free, and etc etc. Just proves that the deck is still amazing without the loop
Agro
Jeff Jones got 2nd with TeleGrand. I thought it would do well, but sheesh.

I took it to my Regionals and topped...and only saw like two other Wind-Ups decks. So many Dark Worlds, Six Sams, and Heros!!! D:<

HEROs are about the only one of them that should still be able to top consistently along with Wind-Ups and let's say whatever deck everyone runs/gets lucky with.
Oddly enough, there was not a single HERO deck that topped. And I'm talking about top 8 instead of top 16 since it was a Regionals. There wasn't a single Dark World or Six Sam either. There was an odd GK build and a Dino Rabbit. There was also a Karakuri deck WITHOUT the Geargias that either topped 8 or topped 16. I can't remember sadly. I was a bit excited about my win to pay that much attention. :<

Agro
The joke is that Beast and Barkion can manipulate the Graveyard to Grandsoil's will.
werewolfjedi
now this is something I am actually glad to see. it's a creative deck that konami didn't plan on, and it isn't archtype reliant at all ether.
