If the only monsters in your Graveyard are Spellcaster-type monsters: You can Special Summon this card (from your hand). Once per turn: You can target 1 LIGHT monster on the field; this monster is not treated as a Tuner and its Level becomes equal to that monster's Level, until the End Phase. This card cannot be used as an Xyz Material monster.

The first card seems like a different Apprentice, since it can't get Crystal or OVM's effect, but has beafier stats. Not being able to loop with itself like Apprentice also hurts.

Vessel seems weird. Spellcasters best Synchs are 5 (Librarian) and 7 (Arcanite), which it doesn't help to make, and it's got an Xyz-material-esque effect but has no use as an Xyz material. I guess some all-spellcaster Decks might find a use for this, but most would probably rather use E-Tele for Arcanite, since the rest of the effect is iffy in its use.
