宇佐見 蓮子@C94
I like Dragons. Kaiba likes Dragons and frankly, who doesn't? However, making a Dragon-type monster is something I usually tend to avoid in card making, mostly because it's way too mainstream and I'm a crazy hipster. But today my love for Dragons finally overridden my hipster-ness and I decided to make a Dragon-type card. My first Dragon-type card I post in YCM as a single. Here goes nothing, then.
Cannot be Normal Summoned or set. Must first be Special Summoned by Tributing 1 Monster you control with 2500 or more ATK. This card is treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. While this card is face-up on the field, you can Normal Summon it to have it become an Effect Monster with this effect. ● You can discard 1 Card to Banish this face-up card. This effect can be activated during either player's turn. During the End Phase on which this effect is activated: Special Summon this card from your Banished Pile. If you do, it's ATK becomes 1600 and it is treated as a Level 4 Monster.
It's revival eff basically makes it a constantly reviving 1600 Beater, at the cost of your normal summon. Another way is to SS this, gemini summon it and when it's revived, use it as a Synchro/Xyz Material because it's level has been reduced. I don't know if it's weak, broken or bad card design, since I'm not even good at YGO. And that's why I need reviews/criticism. So my next cards can be better and better. richie123
My opinion is that it's a bit weak. I personally wouldn't use it, I'd just get a level 4 monster in my deck over it, rather than having to discard a card to activate its ability. You could bump up its attack (it is level 8 with the ATK of a level 5-6) or get rid of the cost to banish it. I would say that would bring up the card's competitiveness. Just my opinion. Sora1499
This card is a bit like an underpowered version of an old card called Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys (link: http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Sacred_Phoenix_of_Nephthys). The difference between that card and this one is that this card is a bit more versatile, but has more drawbacks. Nephthys has a powerful trigger effect when it's re-summoned, and this... it turns into a crappy monster that ends up being run over in one or two turns. So, for your sacrifice of multiple monsters, you end up with a one-shot card that shoots friggen sodium oxide bullets. The card is really underpowered, probably a -1, and I think it'd drag down almost any deck it's in. If you give it more Atk or nix the effect that makes it lose 800 Atk, then it would be a lot more usable. 6.5/10, 8/10 with fixes
