The Kyoushuu are an archtype of 10 cards, using a strategy that is meant to wither out the opponent over the course of the duel, eventually allowing you to have an advantage over them. Their main advantage is the fact they can keep recovering other members in the Graveyard, allowing you to have more options later in the game. Of course, that is how I plan them to be, but you be the judge as to if they work or not:
If this card declares an attack: You can add 1 "Kyoushuu" card from your Graveyard to your hand. If this face-up card is destroyed by an opponent's card (either by battle or by card effect): Target 1 monster your opponent controls; decrease its ATK and DEF by 1000.
The most straightforward card. A lot of the archtype cards will follow more or less the same effects.
If this card declares an attack: You can add 1 "Kyoushuu" card from your Graveyard to your hand. Once per turn, you can target 1 monster your opponent controls with an ATK of 2500 or more; its ATK becomes 1600. Monster you control (except "Kyoushuu" monsters) cannot declare an attack during the turn you activate this effect.
A favorite of mine, it takes down beatsticks and puts them in the average level. Easy pickings now...
*Buffed defense to 1900; became level 3
[s]If this card declares an attack: You can add 1 "Kyoushuu" card from your Graveyard to your hand. If you control no other monsters: This card can attack your opponent directly. If this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent: You can return this card to your hand and target 1 monster your opponent controls; decrease its ATK by 2000. During your next Standby Phase, it gains 1000 ATK.[/s]
If this card declares an attack: You can add 1 "Kyoushuu" card from your Graveyard to your hand. If this card is added from your Graveyard to your hand: You can Special Summon this card (from your hand). This card can attack your opponent directly. If this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent: You can return this card to your hand and target 1 monster your opponent controls; decrease its ATK by 2000. During your next Standby Phase, it gains 1000 ATK.
A stall of sorts. It gets down 1 monster by 2000 ATK so you take less damage while protecting her. She is also 1 of the 2 tuners that lead into the first of the 3 boss monsters.

If this card declares an attack: You can add 1 "Kyoushuu" card from your Graveyard to your hand. If a "Kyoushuu" monster is Normal Summoned: Decrease the ATK of all monsters your opponent controls by 700.
Now here is where I say things got a bit more situational. Pulling her effect off on a standard situation isn't so easy unless you decided to Ultimate Offering spam. The one redeeming factor is her high ATK (Yes, that is high in this archtype).

[s]If this card declares an attack: You can add 1 "Kyoushuu" card from your Graveyard to your hand. Each time your opponent activates a card effect: Target 1 monster your opponent control; decrease its ATK by 400.[/s]
If this card declares an attack: You can add 1 "Kyoushuu" card from your Graveyard to your hand. If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can decrease this card's level by 1; decrease the ATK of all monsters your opponent controls by 300.
Awesome Artwork. I find that I made her effect less powerful, but I did so because she is a tuner and has decent ATK.

BOSS MONSTERS

If this card declares an attack: You can add 1 "Kyoushuu" card from your Graveyard to your hand. Once, while this card is face-up on the field: You can return all Spell and Trap Cards your opponent controls to their owner's hands, then decrease the ATK and DEF of all monsters your opponent controls by 500 for each card returned this way. This card is unaffected by Trap Cards.
She Giant Trunades the opponent's field, then can severely weaken all monsters they control, on top of the fact she is immune to traps. Honestly, I would have placed her as a mini-boss monster, but her devastating effect and the fact she isn't that hard to get out makes me think she is quite powerful (and splashable). I would place her as overpowered, but I would rather get an opinion first.
[s]1 Warrior-Type Tuner + 1 or more Non-Tuner "Kyoushuu" monsters[/s]
[s]If this card declares an attack: You can add up to 2 "Kyoushuu" card from your Graveyard to your hand. During either player's turn, you can target 1 monster on the field; its ATK becomes 2400 (This effect can only be activated once per duel).[/s]
1 "Kyoushuu" Tuner + 1 or more Non-Tuner Warrior-Type monsters
If this card declares an attack: You can add up to 2 "Kyoushuu" card from your Graveyard to your hand. Once per turn, you can target 1 monster on the field; its ATK becomes 2300.
A little less splashable due to its main effect being archtype specific and having rather specific requirements. Still, it does have devastating effects like giving massive pluses on attack (and having good ATK) and that its last effect can be used both offensively and defensively.

If this card declares an attack: You can add 1 "Kyoushuu" card from your Graveyard to your hand. "Kyoushuu" monsters you control cannot be destroyed by battle. Each time a "Kyoushuu" monster battles: Decrease the ATK of all monsters your opponent controls by 300.
This pretty much takes the cake just like having Amazoness Sword Woman and Amazoness Queen on the field at the same time (or just having Daigusto Sphreez on the field). Recovery spamming and weakening over and over again. Not to mention this card's decent ATK.
Spells
Note: Spells can be recovered by Kyoushuu monster effects.

Special Summon 1 level 4 or lower "Kyoushuu" monster from your hand. It cannot declare an attack during this turn. "Kyoushuu Quick Strike" can only be activated once per turn.
Simple enough. It lets you pull off and prepare the boss monsters. Maybe add in more ATK decrease or just defend your Life Points for a moment. Clearly, the restriction is to stop from spamming the field.

"Kyoushuu" monsters cannot be banished. During your Draw Phase, instead of conducting your normal Draw Phase, you can send 1 "Kyoushuu" card from your Deck to the Graveyard; "Kyoushuu" monsters you control cannot be targeted by card effects, until the End Phase.
Cause banishing was the biggest weakness of all. It soft-searches Kyoushuu cards and grants targeting immunity during your turn, at the cost of not drawing. Again, it can be recovered from the Graveyard.

I personally think that the greatest feature of this deck is the hand power that you get from being able to get cards from your graveyard.

the aegis is very nice

the primal lion would typically be hard to summon, at least in today's game, its not very good unless there was an easier way to summon it, maybe like, sending 2 kyoushuu cards from your hand to the grave (taking advantage of the hand power)

being a quickplay, quick strike should have not any problem spamming the field, despite what you say since you can activate it during ur opponent's end phase. but don't change it

artful sword would be a lot more useful if it had just 50 more ATK lol

suggestions (besides the ones mentioned above):
make the levels easier to summon the artful sword with (maybe) as there is only 1 relatively easy way to summon her: with flourishing moon and white hood; artful sword isn't strong enough to be worth the effort for 3 monster to summon it.

for tight situations, maybe have a kyoushuu that can't be destroyed by battle

Why thank you.

You must understand about the outside techs. I would like to point you out to "The Immortal Bushi" which can give free tribute fodder for the deck and combined with Quick Strike, it puts in the 2 fodders for tributes. Lion was made to be difficult to summon because once he is out, you can +1 at the very least every turn, and I just mentioned a card that made it easy to summon him.
being a quickplay, quick strike should have not any problem spamming the field, despite what you say since you can activate it during ur opponent's end phase. but don't change it
I'm aware this can be done, but what I was refering to by "spam the field" was Normal Summoning, use this, Special Summon, Battle Phase, recover this, use this, Special Summon again for 3 monsters in 1 turn.
artful sword would be a lot more useful if it had just 50 more ATK lol
It was originally intended to have 2500 ATK, but you must understand that gaining a +2 on attack is very powerful stuff. You could quite literally recover eveything you lost by summoning it.
make the levels easier to summon the artful sword with (maybe) as there is only 1 relatively easy way to summon her: with flourishing moon and white hood; artful sword isn't strong enough to be worth the effort for 3 monster to summon it.
That is debatable, but I admit Artful Sword's summoning could use a bit of though. I'll look into it.
for tight situations, maybe have a kyoushuu that can't be destroyed by battle
Tight Situations are Hunting Night. The purpose of Primal Lion is exactly why I didn't make such a card, because it would be easy pluses.
