Synchronized
Main character (sorta) in my FF uses the "Forbidden" trio, Lance, Chalice, etc., so to focus moreso on that "archetype", I've come up with a few additional support cards. Figured I'd post them because why not. Valiance Knight ****/LIGHT Warrior / Effect When this card is targeted for an attack: You can activate 1 Quick-Play Spell Card from your hand. 1800/1000 Valiance Footsoldier **/LIGHT Warrior / Effect When this card is Normal Summoned: You can banish 2 "Forbidden" Spell Cards from your Graveyard; Special Summon 1 "Valiance Footsoldier" from your Deck in face-up Defense Position. 1000/1000 Forbidden Priestess ***/LIGHT Spellcaster / Effect When this card is Summoned: You can add 1 "Forbidden" Spell Card from your Deck to your hand. 800/1000 Forbidden Mace Quick-Play Spell Card Target 1 face-up monster on the field; it loses 1000 ATK, but this turn it can attack all monsters your opponent controls once each. Retreating Reversal Normal Trap Card During this turn only, monster(s) you control that would be affected by the effect(s) of a "Forbidden" Spell Card are unaffected by any effect(s) that do not increase or decrease ATK. Also, any effect that would decrease the ATK of those monster(s) is negated, and those monster(s) gain ATK equal to that amount instead, until the End Phase. Link to comment
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Forbidden Mace doesn't fit with the Forbidden archetype. They are supposed to be holy relics, including the Holy Grail, Lance of Longinus, and I assume the clothing of Jesus. Maybe you know something about the bible I don't, but I don't remember a significant mace being mentioned. Link to comment
I'm aware; I was trying to think of a more "medieval" weapon to go with the theme, and that was the best I could come up with. In the context of the story it makes sense, I suppose. I actually designed these before I started writing the episode.
Priestess is a Stratos for Forbidden Cards. I don't like.
Priestess is supposed to be the woman depicted on the cards; I was talking today with my friend about how it would be cool if she was an actual card, so there. I suppose I could make it only when Normal Summoned, and configure it so that you can only use the effect once per turn. Link to comment
Agro
Well if you can only Normal Summon it once per turn anyway, why would that help balance it at all? Link to comment
Synchronized
Well if you can only Normal Summon it once per turn anyway, why would that help balance it at all?
Because then you can't use multiple copies of it in a turn, i.e. Ultimate Offering to search more. Plus, as is it's able to search off a Flip Summon or a Special Summon, so restricting it to a Normal Summon means you have to Summon a monster with 800 ATK in attack position and leave it there.
