Since you used MTG terminology, take the 500 damage and compare it to each player's 8000 starting total. It's 1/20, or equivalent to 1 point of damage in Magic. You used a monster that takes a Tribute to Summon and another Level 6 monster, combined them into a Rank 6 monster (which will usually control the game on its own), and sacrificed all that to do 1 point of damage. Unless you did 7500 damage that turn somehow, it's not worth it.

I suppose it does seem a bit underpowered. If the card maker would keep the cropped image displayed on the card when I open it, I could make changes.

I could either lower it's level to 4 or increase the amount of damage dealt to 1000.
