Spenсe
I really do love Frogs. But sometimes, Swap Frog, albeit a great card, is just too weak. Also, those crummy cards that banish the cute froggies hurt a lot. What if there was a card that could just fix these problems? When this card is Normal or Special Summoned, you can send 1 Level 3 or lower WATER monster from your Deck to the Graveyard. We only say "Summoned" now and not "Normal Summoned or Special Summoned." Less wordy and more straightforward. The last correction was also right, cause when the lore states that you discard a card, we say "from your hand" in parentheses to avoid confusion with the deck. Summoned implies every kind of summon, whereas the OP card excludes Flip summon. "May" is old ocg. "Can' is the current. If you're discarding a card, it means youre moving a card from hand to Graveyard. I said discard, which in itself implies "from your hand," there's no reason to add it to the card text. Strider Tigerwolf
Alright...you guys got my attention so here I go. Torrid Frog Solid beater/Miller/Recycler. VERY useful in all it's aspects, and probably too useful. I'd suggest bumping it's ATK to 1600 so that it can't run over most things (by itself anyway). Keeping it at Level 4 is also pretty nice as Summoner Monk can be used to Tutor this guy and then be used for other plays so it can be good in the Deck, Hand or Graveyard. The reason I'm saying to tone down the ATK is because it's going to be a +s most of the time, especially given a few cards. Archtype (Frog): Gets Treeborn/Ronintoadin to the Graveyard for their plays. Lessens the stress of SWAP Frog so the deck is now more versatile. Archtype (Mermail): Abysshilde, Abysslinde, and Abyssgunde absolutely love the card as it gives you direct access to any of the 3 from the Deck. Not only that but you are able to recycle them back into the graveyard if they happen to be banished. (Mermails are broke btw) Techs: Card comboes well with Hanged Man of Phophesy to give you a +1, Comboes insanely well with Nimble Angler allowing you to get an instant +2 Summon for Gachi (given the current Level 3 or lower "Nimble" monsters out there) or a solid wall, either or which gives you a pretty decent ATK which is why I said it would be best to dupe it's ATK to maybe 1600. It also dups Fishborg Launcher/Planter in the Grave for Synchro plays which you want because they are DEAD draws while in the Deck. Diplomacy - Lol it's basically Icarus Attack except it laughs at Starlight, Stardust and Shooting Star. Archtype Specific is nice, and the fact that you HAVE to return 2 cards on the field is quite decent.

I don't think reducing the atk is necessary. Its original purpose is to be an alternative to Swap Frog but without leaving yourself vulnerable or going minus (First turn Swap frog is common and usually players leave their field empty after Swap bounces itself back). Essentially its a set up card that also provides an offensive defense, if that makes any sense. I've been thinking about nerfing its effect slighty so it cannot get its effect when Special Summoned. I also had the idea of rather then discarding itself by its own effect, i would make its effect a trigger which activates when sent to the graveyard from the hand by a card effect. This way, it'll have smaller room for exploit, but also maintaining itself as a very strong set up card. The idea behind the card was to make Frog decks much more synergetic. It has many potential strategies with the most common frogs: Treeborn to send to grave (which is the most basic set up), Ronin to give him 2 more cards in grave to abuse, and Swap Frog to either use its effect and bounce itself to summon this (giving you 2 set up mills) OR alternatively being a discard fodder (which was the idea behind the 2nd effect's adjustment above). Mermails can definitely use this card. I didn't really think of them when I made it, but the idea of setting up for any water deck was definitely in my mind when I made this card (which is why I didn't limit its potential targets greatly like Swap Frog). The other strategies you listed do seem quite viable. I'll think about an Errata. Check back soon Also I don't think Mermails are that OP. Maybe with this card they can be
Strider Tigerwolf
Mermails +s from "using effects" meaning they laugh at "costs" and gain double benefits. That beats the purpose of...well "costs" and makes everything you do a +s instead of a neutral 0. As for the ATK, they key card I was referring to was The Agent - Venus. She's easily a 2000 ATK beat stick with mill written all over her, and Torrid is essentially able to do the same by combing with other cards and technically does it even better. That's why I suggested reducing the ATK to 1600 because you can build walls with him, and having a free 2300 ATK beater....well that's just not fair.
