Agro
Wolfbark isn't THAT broken. Sure, it can Special Summon anything that fits its condition no matter how it got on the field, but it's really just a more usable version of that one firestar that does the same thing. Strider Tigerwolf
The thing is, Ryushinshin is "balanced". Wolfbark...is not as it's a pseudo monster reborn for no cost.

Darj
Come on, Wolfbark is not that broken: Salvo, Debris, Junk Synchron, Blizzard and Ammonite are also free Synchros that get their resources from the Grave, and we don't see them thrashing the metagame. However, monsters that get their resources from the Deck are a different matter.
mido9
But salvo needs you to run bad stuff, debris is underused, junk synchro and blizzard only go into 5s and 6s,and ammonite is in a bad archtype. Wolfbark goes into the great rank 4s and SOKO all while being super easy to search in a competent deck.
It's also their "End Factors" that you should worry about, and what potential targets they have as well as their "position" and "structure". Let me show you: Salvo - Summons 1 DARK Level 4 Machine-Type monster. Location: Graveyard. Has 31 Targets Total. Best/Most Probable Targets: Cannon Soldier, Dekoichi, Cyberdark Trio, "Genex" Level 4 DARK monsters, Trap Reactor-Y Fi, Stealthroid, and Meklord Army of Wisel. Has....really bad support. Debris - Has one too many targets too list, but I'll list a few of the "common" ones. Targets: Dandylion, Inzektor Hornet, Lonefire Blossom, Spore, Night Assailant, Plaguespreader, (Lol) Rescue Rabbit, Card Trooper, Veiler, D.D. Crow, ....actually I should probably stop right there. Has Cards of Consonance. Junk Synchron - Has "viable" targets, but by himself only leads to a level 4-5 Synchro (though 2 minimum could be pulled out with Quickdraw). Quillbolt, Doppel, Veiler, Tuningware, Deep-Sea Rescue. Synchron also has RotA. Blizzard - Works with Blackwings, FOR Blackwings, and even then he just becomes fuel for other support cards such as Icarus Attack and such. Ammonite - Horrible archtype...really....Aliens...speak bad for themselves. What about this guy? Tenki at 3 for consistent search. Targets include: Itself Ensho Yushi Ryushinshin Laquari All which can be run together in a Deck (Fire Glad 2.0) Others targets: Snarin (Firestar) Prominence (Laval) Rhinotaurus (lol da fuq?) Soko just loves the card, but it's bad design because they're just breaking him as well as making another staple to bring out boss monsters out of no where with no effort. Darj
Well, Boss monsters come from nowhere nowadays; unfortunately it became the standard, and apparently Soko won't be an exception. I cannot complain because that gives him the chance of fighting against those instant Bosses. That's why I don't find the Wolf broken. But other than Soko, barely other Rank 4s can stand against Level 5 and 6 Synchros: Catastor beats them all except the DARKs, and only Pearl con go 1-for-1 against Gaia Knight. However, I think we can all agree that Synchros are more beatdown-oriented while Xyzs have awesome effects for other goals. My point with this is that an instant Synchro is as good as an instant Rank 4, and yet we don't see Junk or Blizzard (the only decent Grave summoners as explained above) tearing the meta, and I guess Debris is Semi-Limited for a reason. Probably the Wolf will end being Semi-Limited as well, but Konami likes to hit the searcher so the first victim might be the Beast-Warrior searcher. Aerion Brightflame
My issue with Wolf at the moment, is even though the effect is uncomfirmed. there is no restriction to when it happens like upon summoning. So, even turn it can bring back a level 4... I think that could be considered broken. Others may get better as more rank 8's exist.
That's like saying Trishula isn't broken because it takes 3 cards to get out. Konami is wreaking atm of "bad design" because "X cards exist". Except on this case, they KNOW they're going to make the archtype broken because a broken archtype tends to be a winning archtype and people love to win which is why they'll pay $$ to get these winning cards. Darj
I fully agree with you, but sadly that's how it is working now, and I don't think we can do anything about it, except by not playing those cards IRL to express our disagreement. And I would rather see Firestars at the Top than staying at Tier 1.5 or 2.
Strider Tigerwolf
This is why I wish I could go and smack some sense into those guys...and then hire a few guys from here along side myself for a few arguable positions and retake the game for what it should've been.
