Because they were pretty and needed it.

OLD EFF: When your opponent draws a card(s) outside of their Draw Phase, you can send this card from the field to the Graveyard to draw 2 cards.

NEW EFF: When your opponent activates an effect to add a card(s) from their Deck to the hand (including by drawing): You can send this card to the Graveyard from your hand or field; draw 2 cards.

WHY: Original effect? Slow and ineffective. You gotta keep it alive, or Set it and hope the opponent rams into it and stupidly draws in Main Phase 2. Most Decks won't trigger its effect at all, leaving you to hope you can Bribe something and run off of that.
Revised effect? Massively powerful. It's a Pot of Greed on your opponent's turn and it works against a huge range of cards, from Hyper Librarian to Spellbook of Secrets. Duality? Instant +1. Emergency Call? +1! Hanzo? Plus one! This works in Naturia and in everything else.

OLD EFF: This card can only declare an attack during a turn that your opponent activates the effect of a Spell, Trap or Effect Monster Card.

NEW EFF: This card can only attack if your opponent activated a card or effect while this card was face-up on the field. Your opponent cannot target "Naturia" monsters you control for attacks, except "Naturia Spiderfang".

HOW: Unless your opponent used Veiler or D-Prison on another Naturia, Spiderfang would never attack. If they did, you got a 2100 attacker for the turn, but if you had another Naturia monster you might as well Synchro.
New Spiderfang still needs a trigger, but the attacking ability is permament so even a Duality opens the gates. The second ability combos with Antjaw, Fruitfly, Marron or Vein/Sunflower for long-term gain.

OLD EFF: When a face-up "Naturia" monster you control is selected as an attack target, you can send this face-up card you control to the Graveyard to negate that attack and end the Battle Phase.

NEW EFF: When a face-up "Naturia" monster you control is targeted for an attack: You can send this card to the Graveyard from your hand or field; end the Battle Phase.

HOW: And here's a -1. Originally it could Sac itself for defense like Cyber Valley, but you'd still be out a card. In most cases D-Prison or Wall of Thorns would work better. But this revision means defense for Bamboo Shoot and Beast, and it doesn't need to be Summoned. It can also serve the combo purposes of revised Spiderfang.

Would you work them in?

What on earth made you think Ragweed was a good idea?

Spiderfang seems good, I like the idea of a 2100 beater with summoning sickness, and I feel 2100 is not overly rewarding and broken for waiting a turn.

Stinkbug seems like a decent hand trap but I just don't think it's worth it to play as cards like Threatening Roar are just way better.

ragweed prolly should have its DEF toned down cuz now it serves a double purpose, one is to be a pot of greed, the other is to defend. i think it should also have something to limit it to naturias.

spider is good, i like it. i agree with what kabbles said

stinkbug seems really powerful, as there is no real way to stop it. with threatening roar it can be destroyed by night beam, or by mystical space typhoon the turn it was set.
