Darj
As you should know by now, Konami has been releasing support for EARTH, WATER and FIRE, and its safe to assume that support for WIND is coming. EARTH: "Geargia", "Madolche" and "Heroics", and a few monsters such as "Block Golem" and Silvermountain. No Structure Deck however. WATER: "Atlanteans" and "Mermails", who focus on turning costs into effects and in Special Summoning from the Deck. Also an WATER, Atlantean Deck is being released. FIRE: "Firestars", Beast-Warriors who focus on Continous Spell/Traps, "Hot-Blooded" monsters with different supportive effects, and the recently revealed "Haze Beasts", Level 6 monsters for Xyz Summons. They will also get an Structure Deck that introduces the "Flamelords", whose effects activate upon their destruction. Don't mind if I am missing something, because this thread is for discussing the potential support that WINDs could get, or what would you want to get for them. Personally, I would like to see Thunder, Aqua or even Fairy-Type archetypes based on clouds, sky (not heavens, but the atmosphere) and or/weather (thunderstorms, typhoons, etc.), who focus on adding themselves to the hand and/or drawing cards; I even have a WIND archetype with this playstyle in development. I know we got Cloudians, but those are WATER except for their Boss, who is Aqua-Type WIND, the combination I am looking forward to. Also it would we awesome if Konami released playable support for the "Spheres", similar to what they did with "Haze Beasts"; probably the original Spheres would remain unplayed as they are barely good and the current Boss is way too hard to Summon. Otherwise I wouldn't like to see more Winged-Beast WINDs; I consider we have enough of them.
