Scars of Rejection

Another card of a more sinister bent, this spell has the potential to be game-changing in its propensity. Please give me some feedback, as the last card I posted was largely ignored- how is anyone supposed to improve without criticism? Thanks in advance,

There is a banned Trap Card called Royal Oppression that lets either player negate Special Summons and effects that Special Summon for 800 Life Points. While this card cannot negate effects that Special Summon (because it negates the Summon itself, which wouldn't happen unless the effect was already successful), it is completely one-sided and cheaper than Oppression. No.

Not to mention that it's a bit faster (though that takes away chaining it to an effect) and that your opponent cannot use it.

In the current settings of the game, the Special Summon mechanic is one of, if not the most important aspect of a Deck. Each and every good Deck relies on it to win, and this card practically shuts down the entire mechanic for your opponent, allowing you to watch him or her squirm in your grasp. Before you think "Then this is amazing!" I'll go and compare it to asking your opponent to duel while your opponent is on fire (said opponent must remain on fire for the entirety of the duel).

The only type of Summon that you can negate with this card without breaking it would be Flip Summons, but those never happen ever, so then this would suck.

It's better to leave the "stop SSes" idea alone until you know a lot more about the game than you currently do.
