Army of Defenders
Trap/Continuous
When your opponent declares an attack, put 1 counter on this card. Then, special summon 1 "Protection Token" (Aqua-Type/WATER/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0). For each counter on this card, all "Protection Token"s on the field gain 100 ATK and DEF. If the attack was a direct attack, the token special summoned by this effect becomes the target instead.

Enhanced Defenders
Trap/Continuous
During each of your standby phases, if you control at least 1 "Protection Token", put 1 counter on this card. All "Protection Token"s gain 500 ATK and 200 DEF for each counter on this card. "Protection Token"s cannot attack your opponent directly.

Ultimate Shield
Spell/Continuous
For each "Protection Token" on your side of the field, all monsters on your side of the field gain 500 DEF.

Last Strike of the Defender
Trap/Continuous
When a "Protection Token" is destroyed, put 1 counter on this card. For each counter on this card, monsters on your opponent's side of the field lose 300 ATK and DEF. When a counter is put on this card, detach 1 Xyz material from each face-up Xyz monster on the field.

Magical Protection
Spell/Continuous
During each of your opponent's End Phases, put 1 counter on this card, then Special Summon 1 "Protection Token" (Aqua-Type/WATER/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0). All "Protection Token"s gain 400 DEF for each counter on this card. As long as a "Protection Token" is on your side of the field, spell and trap cards on your side of the field cannot be destroyed by card effects.

Well it gives you protection against the direct attacks your opponent might make. Interesting card to say the least. Though you will still suffer damage, maybe do something about that. Unless you farm counters...
