I wouldn't exactly call this OP, but the fact that the effect is lingering (Unlike swords/steelcage) does make it far stronger than either of those two. All you have to do is flip it up, and then you have 2 turns of your opponent not being able to attack. This allows you to Final Countdown/Exodia/etc in basically auto-pilot. AGATHODAIMON BANGTAIL COW Posted November 3, 2012 Report Share Posted November 3, 2012 In most cases, your opponent only loses out on one Battle Phase since this will either be blown up by a card effect or attacked. Since there's at least five cards ran in Final Countdown that practically does the same thing, this probably won't see play in the most competitive builds. Nothing stops the free draw though (except for the fact that it misses the timing), so this could end up making its way into some 80% decent FC build. Exodia, on the other hand, will probably use its Normal Summon on a Level 1 monster like Kinka-Byo or Card Car D. This going on to stop two Battle Phases is less likely to go off than the Thunder of Ruler + Frozen Soul combo. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
