CinnamonStar
Never had acne myself, but I usually do this to cleanse my face: - take 2 tablespoons of rice flour (can be bought at most larger supermarkets or Asian groceries), 1 tbsp of honey and a bit of milk (or soy milk or plain water)- Mix and apply on face for 10 minutes, then rinse. Yeast is also a staple ingredient for acne. Put 1 tbsp of it, plus a bit of plain yogurt on your face (around 15 minutes), or dissolve 1 tbsp in boiling water until it becomes thicker and mix with lemon juice. None of those will get rid of it for the next party, but they can improve your skin quality. Dunno, some treatments just sound...unneededly harsh for something like this.D: But then again, I don't know how bad some people's acne break-outs are, so depending on the severity, you'll probably have to use extra treatments?o.o
Guest .Rai
I've never had acne. I mean, a lot of acne is just hormones so you can't do much to fully get rid of it. Obviously, you can help it though. And, my god, anyone with acne should just drink lots of water. It really is the miracle cure (the same with anyone with spots too). Great Unclean One: VK
Had it and suprisingly for a guy who lives on fatty, oily, greasy, and deep fried foods along with soda and other sugary concoctions, I got a low/mild case of it. Marisa Kirisame-ze
One of my biggest insecurities is my complexion. I don't have that bad of acne, but it's there, and I've been fighting it for about 4 years now. I just never know when it's going to completely go away and I'm scared of my face scarring. DragonDust
Take a bunch of fresh herbs, Put them in a bowl. (Make sure you get sweet smelling herbs. You don't have to, but I highly recomend it!) Boil some water, and pour it in the herb filled bowl. Then lean very close to the steam coming from the herb water, take a towel that's big enough to at least cover your head, and just drape it around your head and the bowl. Keep it there for about 15 minutes, and then wash your face. The steam of the herbs opens up your pores, so you can get dirt and oil out much, much easier. If you want, follow with a herb baised lotion.
