Let the Hammerfall Fall!

Hammerfall,my favorite power/heavy metal band's mascot inspired me to make this card.
The idea is that when you tribute summon this legendary warrior he slams the ground shattering the opponents zones rendering them unusable, while he can effectively protect himself.

Card Text:
When this card is Tribute Summoned: Select up to 3 of your opponent's unoccupied Monster Card Zones. As long as this card is face-up on the field the selected zones cannot be used. During either player's turn, when a Spell/Trap Card that targets this card is activated: Negate the activation, and if you do, destroy it.

No, don't do as the guy above me says. That S/T negation effect must not exist.

You have taken Jinzo and Spell Canceller, put them together, and let them have a lovechild that combines both of their actually already useful into something that you can bring back over and over again with The Warrior Returning Alive (normally that would not be much of a good argument, but it's effectively giving you more of these). Tribute Summon monsters aren't popular these days, but they aren't impossibilities. It isn't uncommon for a Monarch deck to run Jinzo to shut down a game mechanic they don't even use, and if Spell Canceller was stronger, it would probably see some play in some deck.

And as for your "It won't negate because they won't activate them" argument, they don't activate them, so therefore, they can't be used. A lot of Decks need their Spells and Traps, and shutting them both down with not too much effort is just not good for this game to have.

As for the first effect, I find this alright. It doesn't limit your opponent too much since they can still Xyz/Sync. But coupled with your broke'd effect, you can use Ground Collapse, then Summon this to make your opponent unable to Summon or use S/Ts. Now what can they do? Like, nothing. At all. Maybe just Swift Scarecrow and Veiler (Veiler is not a good counterargument against the OPness of this card. Veiler saves people from many things, but it does not give you the right to make OP monsters).

This thing doesn't negate all spell and traps just the ones that target it....a mare smashing ground can destroy it because it doesnt target.,you still got your 2 monster slots to run over it or destroy it with effect, mirror force it or the powerful effects of mermails or dark world monsters when sent to the grave i don't think its overpowered.....

Check out "White Night Dragon" it has the same effect

That's something I didn't notice for some reason. :/

In that case, the protection is helpful and the zone-stopping is as well. But the only thing I don't like is the Ground Collapse + this combo. Unlike the Ojama guys, this is easy to get out with cards like Treeborn and/or One For One. Ground Collapse would have at most 4 ways to get rid of it, and right now, Soul Taker is ran over Smashing Ground. Dark Hole is only one card. TT and Mirror are also nice at stopping this, but being easily stoppable isn't a way to counterbalance things. And you can just MST/Beam/Heavy them.

All in all, it's too much of an easy way to hole up all five of your opponent's monster zones, and even then, you can run lulzy cards like My Body as a Shield and Curse of Royal to help keep alive. Then, in up to four turns, you have won.

How about changing his neg effect to only work in the battle phase? or only the main phase? that way you can either have him as a beatstick or a mass negate pillar, but trying to use him for both roles would kill him. Seems more balanced to me.
Also I do not think his stats are low at all for his level, the only higher stat monster for his level would probably be Summoned Skull, other monsters have notably less ATK with the higher end ones usually being around 2400. But the stats can stay as long as you nerf his effect more bc right now he is broken; he does too much for too less.
