Gogogo God - Coat of Arms

I got the original concept from Arm, but based it only on the strategy he used, not actually the Decklist. And of course tweaked it a bit in terms of playstyle.

It's basically a Rank 4 spam using the Gogogo monsters, and drawing upon Zombie support. Works well on a casual level. I doubt it's meta level.

How it Works:

Catapult Zone is a Field Spell that, once per turn, if a monster would be destroyed by battle, you can send 1 Rock monster from your Deck to the Grave instead.

This is a key card early game, as it can set up Gogogo Golem for your combos with Ghost or Giant while preserving your monsters, but even meaner is sending Revival Golem, a Level 4 Rock that when sent to Grave from Deck by a card effect, you can either SS it or add it to hand, but only one Revival Golem can be activated a turn. With its solid 2100 DEF, it works as an early Set, as well.

Later game, Catapult frustrates the opponent when you have an Xyz out already, as killing it by battle becomes harder.

Pyramid Turtle can search out Z-Master or Ghost when destroyed and Goblin can search either of those also, which can provide discard fodder for Z-Master's effect.

Emeral is a wonderful recycler, letting you put Revival Golems back in your Deck, or just the monsters you've been using as Xyz Materials so that you dont run out of options, and often times can also recycle the Xyz themselves.

Chain works nicely with setup, sending Revival Golem to SS, or one of the key combo pieces.

I run 3 for consistency. Golem is still an 1800/1500 Rock that avoids destruction by battle if in DEF. It is SO crucial to get him early game, either in hand or availability to send to Grave, that I feel 3 is best. Similarly, Ghost is a 1900 beater that has fun combos with Z-Master, Giant, or Pyramid Turtle.

So they're already good by their own merits, and since the Deck relies on having them in some form, I wouldnt feel safe ditching them.

Trooper isnt a bad idea, but I dont want to lose my S/Ts along with the monsters. It could Trigger Revival Golem, which is handy, but unlike Plants or LS which have more desirable cards to mill than not, indiscriminate mill could backfire horrendously. I will consider it as a tech or side option to test later.

I'm not sure if Call would be too slow. I have Book of Life, Z-Master, Mezuki, and Reborn already. I think I have 2 Calls sided at the moment in case I feel an area is lacking to the point where I switch cards around.

Plague, however, is easy: I dont have room. I'm not running any Synchros and Brio is banned, and there aren't any good Level 6 Synchros to run instead of one of my diverse Rank 4 options.

You can always fit in either Gaia Knight. Please don't say there aren't any good Level 6 Synchros, because I'd hate to prove a Mod wrong.

How does Gaia Knight perform better than the Rank 4s?

Pearl already has the "2600 beater with no effect" slot, and Plague would be used exclusively to bring out Gaia Knight, and the only real combos I'd have without using the "return card from hand to top of Deck" effect, I already can do with a Level 4 Zombie and go for a Rank 4. Which as a gentle reminder, is what the entire Deck is focused on doing. A Level 6 Synchro that doesn't further the Deck's plays in the slightest isnt the best reason to run Plague.

Note, I said: "There aren't any good Level 6 Synchros to run INSTEAD of a Rank 4", not that good Level 6 Synchros dont exist. I could run Sirius, but that wont help the Deck.

Mezuki, 3 Gogogo Golem, 3 Ghost, 3 Revival Golem, any one zombie. That's more than plants had, honestly. Plus you get the draw if it's destroyed. If you say your goal is to get to Gogogo Golem, this is the card for the job.
