My first 3 cards, not a set

My first three cards before I focused on my harpies. Tell me what you think?

Dark Forge Factory
Limited. Easily summons one of the most powerful tokens in the game. Unfortunatly, these tokens hit you HARD when they're destroyed, so use them wisely.

Quickstart Ninja
Unlimited. If you are lucky enough to draw this card in the beginning of the duel, youll be off to a GREAT start! if you merely draw it later, it will at least be a decent deck searcher. IF youre using ninjas... I have never used ninjas...

Risky Gambit
Unlimited. But really, who would want more than one? If you're feeling confident, you can reduce your life points to 1000 for 3 turns. it may allow you to use some "last chance" spell or trap cards without actually being "last chance", but honestly, one hit from your opponent and you're dead. Trap cards and monsters can destroy this card prematurely as well, so use with caution! If you can survive the 3 turns, you'll be rewarded with DOUBLE your wager. So lets say you use it the first turn? go from 8000 to 1000. 3 turns later if the card is still in play, discard it, and you're up to 15,000 LP! But is it worth it to you?

Anyway, those were my first three concepts. Let me know what you think?

Again, the cards are mine, the artwork is not. All credit goes to the original artists.

Notice: The Death Forge Factory lore was a little hard to read, so consider posting the lore beneath the card, just so everybody can see it clearly.

DFF: I feel like it should be a level 7 monster, since it has a large ammount of DEF and can summon some pretty powerful tokens, but I guess thats what makes it limited. Ah well, just a suggestion

QS Ninja: ATK seems a little high for a first strike idea. maybe he could have a slightly higher ammount of ATK (like 1600) and then lose 400 if he attacks on the first turn, but again, it's a suggestion

Risky Gambit: Quite risky indeed. Feels like a balanced card to me, consider making it 500 LP to make it even riskier. This is just more of a "what would happen?" idea

Death Forge: I don't see how this would be used, except as a wall. It's more or less useless, in my opinion, and the strongest Token would arguably be an Emissary of Darkness Token and another powerful token with 2000 ATK are Photon Tokens. There is no way this card would be limited unless there was some way to exploit its effect or create a loop. Also, you cannot use a Token for an Xyz Summon anyway. If you really think this card would be limited, I suggest you go play the actual Yugioh metagame and realize that this card isn't worth much. If you want to play the game go on www.duelingnetwork.com and play in rated, though I would suggest making your deck and playtesting in unrated first.

Quickstart Ninja: This card... it's okay, I guess, in the fact that you might be able to search for Hanzo. This card could possibly be used in a Burn Deck, I suppose... This card is really generic and it isn't the best at anything.

Risky Gambit: Bad, bad, bad, bad, bad. There is a REASON why Wall of Revealing Light was banned: because it was way to easy to FTK with it. There is no need for this card.

DFF comments- sorry about the lore being hard to read. first post and all that :P i shall do better next time. as for your comment, Aix, i believe that the card could be useful in many decks. First and foremost as a decent wall, as you have a high DEF monster along with a high ATK monster special summoned. Secondly, it can be used to quickly finish off your opponent. If you are winning the duel, it is a great help to chip off 2000 LP of your opponent, even if you will take the same hit a turn later (unless you can defend yourself, in which case you can hit for another 2000). Thirdly, it works great with Mystic Tomato, as you can get the 2000 ATK loophole. Another good support card it goes with is Psychic Shockwave, special summoning DFF from deck, and thus getting 2 monsters for free once more.

As for Quickstart ninja, it is a complete roll of the dice. If you draw it on the first turn, you hit the jackpot and can start your opponent out with a nice chunk out of their lifepoints AND if they destroy it by battle during their turn, you can answer with a stronger ninja next turn. If you draw it later in the game, it at least is a deck searcher as a consolation prize.

lastly, gambit. for someone who is feeling lucky, perhaps closer to the start of the duel, and may have a nice defense set up to defend the card, I'd say an extra 7k life points would be very IN need. I dont see many ways to get FTKed with it... if youre smart with timing, it can work very well. If you arn't, then it probably wouldnt be the card for you anyway.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

You evidently haven't played the current metagame. If you did, you would realize that pretty much any deck would run you over with ease. DFF is hard to summon for most decks, making it very inconsistent and thus useless. The only deck that can consistently bring it out is a Frog/Monarch Deck and why would they want to when they can bring out Caius? Second of all, when you Normal Summon it, it is in Attack Position so it would be easily destroyed. Quickstart Ninja is easy to get around, you're opponent can simply use Maestroke to flip it facedown so you don't get the effect, or they could destroy it with some other effect. If they attack it when it's in attack position then they are either about to win or in a very desperate situation. Last gambit gives way to Life Equalizer and Blasting the Ruin FTKs, it gives trolling Self Destruct Buttons an easy chance to simply troll you for a tie, it allows reversal quiz to actually work well a lot more consistently and etc.

Woah, woah, woah...

Trust me man, a lot of people hate this. You should really find a picture of an animated chess set instead of a real one. You'll get burned by a few people if you use real pictures.

Otherwise, I like 'em.

believe it or not, 99% of good animated chess pictures are copyrighted and watermarked. although to be honest, i thought, and still think this is a drawn picture, not an actual chess pic. just a talented artist haha. but thanks, i hate using real pictures too.
