Kyng's Old Account
This was rather strange, what happened to me last night. We (my family) had my little brother's friend over for the evening. During dinner, we had a delicious home-made Chinese, with Dim Sum, Sweet 'n' Sour Chicken; it was certainly mouth watering. However, funnily enough, I was deceived not by the food, but rather the drinks I served out. I had poured myself some Cola, before offering the guest and my mother (rude of me for pouring myself first, I slapped myself on the wrist for that) if they wanted some Tropical Fruit juice, which they happily obliged to, and with that I filled their glasses to the brim. Now, when I took a drink of my Cola, I must've not been thinking about what it was, because for some strange reason, it tasted awful! So much so, I looked at the drink and thought "What am I even drinking?" After establishing it was Cola, I took another swig to make sure it was, in fact, the soft drink. It tasted like Cola again! It must've been something psychological; maybe my head assumed I was drinking juice, so I was expecting something completely different? Northern Sage
Mistaking a glass of wine for your glass of cola is never fun >.<

XD To be honest, wines in general deceived my expectations. My first drink I was looking forward to I perceived as a sugary/sweet treat. :I

Mugendramon
Dad once picked a bottle of water- plastic, without a label, from the fridge. He drank it quickly, as he was really thirsty. It was Vodka. I laughed so much.
Tentacruel
I sometimes drink a glass that turns out to be someone else's. I can instantly tell, even if they were drinking the same thing as I was.
Makο
...So, sort of like... There are two soft drink cups (with lids) in the cup-holder. You know one is yours, and it contains delicious lemonade. The other, however, contains Sprite. And you hate carbonation. So, after examining them for a minute, you determine the one on the right is your lemonade. You are very confident with your decision, and take a big sip. You slightly lurch forward, cheeks full of liquid. Time seems to slow down around you as you think... This isn't lemonade... Like this, jah? Didn't taste like a doughnut at all and I hated it.
The Amazing Avian
My mom once brought some Philadelphia cheese (which I don't find very enjoyable) wrapped in aluminum foil. I mistakenly thought it was a slice of cheesecake so I took a huge bite. I later found out that was payback for eating all the cookies earlier that week. I was like 12 when this happened.
