Squirrel Girl
Well, I just love this serie. Read the Manga and watch the Anime and Films once every month. Which one do you like the most?
TTR~
There is no "All of the Above" choice sir. Death note if possibly my favorite series. Have the collector's edition complete manga box set, as well as all the novels. Watched the anime, read the one-shot of Near, and going to watch the movies and get the first Re-Light in the future as I already have the second one
Cloister
I love the anime, the re-lights was not as great, still pretty good, and the live action films are also very good.
Squirrel Girl
I like the manga best. It has the best storyline along with the one-shot of near. Dont own the manga, but will buy the manga after this christmas. Like every part of Death Note though. EDIT: Novels is available in the poll vote now. Cin
The manga everytime, followed by the anime, and Another Note (the Los Angeles BB Murder Cases) The films would be on that list, but L Change the World ruined it for me....pointless to have a main character who can't die when taking so many risks, and far too much Engrish. As much I love Ken'ichi Matsuyama as L, he really brought L to life.
Squirrel Girl
Well, I think L: Change the world ruined it too. And Near was ruined in the film. The book L: Change the World was better than the movie. Ken'ichi Matsuyama was great as L in the movies. Well, the Re-Light was the worst thing about Death Note but still good. Cin
The novel is on my list to read after about 50 other books (the film is why it's so low)....and I've never seen Re-Light.
Squirrel Girl
Well, I can say that L: Change the World book is at top of my top 1 book. Anyway it is a must read for those who likes Death Note
TTR~
The reason I didn't like Change the World (novel) is because.. well... L considered Light his friend. It was stated by either Ohba or Obata that L thinks really negatively about Light in the How To Read
Raine
I've read L:Change the World and the BB novel, change the world lacked a lot of flare while BB had those amazing 'L' moments and an awesome ending. Though I have to say I favor the anime over the manga even though I own the manga, just because how impact-ful the anime was directed I still get chills when Misa starts singing in that death montage and seeing death dates in goth lolita~
Fanged Dragon
I watched the anime first, but am starting to read the manga right now.
DARKPLANT RISING
I prefer the anime to the manga for several reasons: -I personally prefer the illustrations of the anime compared to the manga -The sound tracks for the anime (Domine Kira, Low of Solipsism, L's Theme etc.) were overall amazing -Light's voice actor in the final episode was godly at acting Change the World was, as everyone said above, dark history. Cloister
The worst part about the whole franchise imo is the Misa song in the anime...
