"[CONT](VC/RC):If have a non-«Kagero» vanguard or rear-guard, this unit gets [Power]-2000.
[CONT](VC):If you have a unit named "Dragonic Overlord" in your soul, this unit gets [Power]+2000.
[AUTO](VC):[Counter Blast (2) & Choose a "Dragonic Overlord The End" from your hand, and discard it.] When this unit's attack hits, you may pay the cost. If you do, [Stand] this unit. "

So, I got back into Vanguard a bit. It seems that even in the era of Limit Breaks he is still very much relevant.
That Persona Blast of his is just so satisfying...

Won't the limit to 2 destroy the deck though?

DOTE was the only deck hit by the restrictions that was actually killed by them. Kagero's lack of a better starter than Conroe meant you could only eally use one copy of this, rendering it to hard to use.

This is one of the most disputed cards in the game, due to it keeping twin drive when it stands, is still IMO the best Crossride in existance, and whilst it has one of the coolest Anime Entrances it's restriction for now is for the best. I am getting bored of only playing the same 4 decks over and over and over again.

What I'm intrested in though, is how Enligh format will handle this when it gets a release, given they already have all the tools to counter it released, like CoCo, and many of the +5000 Limit Breaks. As people will have had practice in dealing with it.

The arguement between them though is that Overlord's skill is disguessed as a +1. You lose a card from hand to get an extra twin drive.

But then it's the factor of: 4 chances for triggers. Which means your hand is +4. On top of whatever the triggers give you.
The unit you drop can't guard anyhow, so it's doesn't really matter.

Combine that with a body that requires boosts to touch, and can hit magic numbers with an 8k boost, it's more powerful than MLB. Who requires two units in the soul to get it's passive skill, which whilst yes it is a +1 critical instead, missing out on the two units hurts MLB more than DOTE, becuase of the extra 1000 base power. 10k units lose you an awful lot of hand nowadays, making MLB more of a risk.

That's how I've been told it anyhow.
