The effect itself is okay and was clearly meant to have synergy with the trap. Frozen: The obvious card to combo with Golden, the card is okay I guess. Exceed: Wont actually work on Golden despite Golden's ability to be xyz summoned since it's not being treated as an Xyz monster so yeah............not to good with Golden but with an actual xyz it's good.
