A Staple Card

My first card uploaded to here, thought I might have people look at it. It is basically a variation to Wattcobra except that it is slightly better in my goal to "make this a deck must have".feedback would be cool.

Staples are supposed, as I'm sure you know, cards that are very useful to any Deck in about every matchup, like how MST can knock out a backrow card, TT wipes both players' frontrow, and Solemn Judgement is a one-time "no" to your opponent. This is just a 1k direct attacker that can't be stopped, but not useful enough for most Decks to even consider. If Decks so drastically needed a way to knock an eighth of their opponent's starting Life Points out, we would see Tremendous Fire a lot more often than we do.

Intentionally making a staple requires a lot of observation to make it something that Decks would love to have. This also means that staples have a tendency to be rather powerful effects, if not a bit on the broken side. The current meta does not need anything that uses your Normal Summon for a small bit of damage, so you may need to compose an entirely new effect in order to reach the staple you are wanting to get made. These cards tend to make a Deck more consistent or be a good source of protection, but a few, like MST and Heavy Storm, are more offensive in ways that aren't directly method of harming your opponent's Life Points.

I don't really like it. Its effect is dull. Cards like raging flame sprite do it better. plus, raging flame sprite AND drill barnacle gain attack. Forbidden Lance gives them protection. There are better cards to run than a slow attacker guaranteed to die...
