SpectralMaliceX
Any advice on getting better?
Aix
First of all, you still have the watermark from Stockphoto or whatever. Secondly, you have a big black box for your text, which is bad. Here's a link to a bunch of good fractals to use so you don't have to use stockphoto: http://browse.deviantart.com/?q=fractal+pack Anyway, you should probably try following some sig tutorials. I don't know what program you use, so I'm going to assume you will use Gimp because it's free. Here's some Gimp tutorials on this kind of stuff that I found. Kakashi Hatake
Looks like you used some kind of online generator to create this.
DL
Too fancy of a text font isn't exactly good in most situations, I believe The black box around it is lulzy, and it seems you made this on Paint or something. The bg is a bit too plain, or rather, too black And there's no real lighting source. And yeah, render has watermark xD
SpectralMaliceX
Bare in mind this was my first attempt, and I was using paint.net
Tormented
There's your problem switch to GIMP it's much better and will give you a wider variety of effects and more plugins. Or you could attempt to get Photoshop, if your thinking of doing more of this then using Paint.NET isn't the way to go.
Aix
I was using paint.net
Download Gimp, and try your best to follow those links I gave you after you watch basic Gimp tutorials. Paint.NET is definitely not the way to go for these things, you need actual software.
Bare in mind this was my first attempt
Degrading yourself like that won't help you get better. Accept criticism no matter what, unless the critic has no clue wut their talking about. If we were flaming, that'd be different.
