Sixth-Dimensional (Dice Archetype)

Recommended Posts

Have been wanting to make an archetype based around die rolls for a while, and today I got a little bit of inspiration. I know that dice are not "six dimensional", however, the name fits with what I have for the concept of these cards, being that they are humanoids wearing sentai-like space armor and their artwork would feature some form of cubes with symbols on them.

Some of these cards miiiight be overpowered.

In order of Levels:

Sixth-Dimensional Recruit - Seiba
Fire/Warrior/1/300/400
While there is a face-up "Sixth-Dimensional" card on the field, you may discard this card and roll a six-sided die. Add 1 "Sixth-Dimensional" monster from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand with a Level equal to or less than the result. The effect of "Sixth-Dimensional Recruit - Seiba" can only be activated once per turn.

Sixth-Dimensional Elder - Eibu
Wind/Spellcaster/1/100/1600
When a card effect is activated that requires a die result, you may discard this card from your hand. Once per turn, while this card is face-up on your side of the field or in your Graveyard, you may negate a die result and re-roll it.

Sixth Dimensional Scout - Turba
Wind/Warrior/2/600/400
Once per turn, you may roll a six-sided die. Special Summon 1 "Sixth-Dimensional" monster from your Deck with a Level equal to the result. If you cannot, return this card to your hand.

Sixth Dimensional Spitfire - Kurblo
Fire/Spellcaster/2/700/0
Once per turn, during either player's turn, you may roll a six-sided die. Increase the ATK of 1 "Sixth-Dimensional" monster on the field by the result x200 until the End Phase of the turn.

Sixth-Dimensional Merchant - Xuri
Wind/Warrior/3/1500/1200
Once per turn, you may roll a six-sided die and apply the following effect based on the result:
1-2: Reveal 1 "Sixth-Dimensional" card in your hand. Draw 1 card.
3-4: Add 1 "Sixth Dimensional" Spell or Trap Card from your Deck to your hand.
5: Send 1 "Sixth-Dimensional" card from your hand or Deck to the Graveyard.
6: Destroy this card and add 1 Level 5 or higher "Sixth Dimensional" monster from your Deck to your hand.

Sixth-Dimensional Upstart - Yauli
Fire/Spellcaster/3/1600/100
When this card is Summoned, if you control another "Sixth-Dimensional" card, roll a six-sided die. Inflict damage to your opponent equal to the result x200 and gain the same amount of Life Points. When this card is sent to the Graveyard, roll a six-sided die; If the result is 3 or 5, banish this card. If the result is 1 or 6, add 1 Level 4 or higher "Sixth-Dimensional" monster from your Graveyard to your hand.

Sixth-Dimensional Intrigue - Domnu
Wind/Spellcaster/4/1600/1600
Once per turn, you may roll a six-sided die and activate the following effect based on the result:
1-2: Switch the ATK and DEF of 1 monster on the field.
3-4: Increase this card's ATK by 300.
5-6: Send this card to the Graveyard. Special Summon 1 "Sixth-Dimensional" monster from your hand.

Sixth-Dimensional Outcast - Zei Zeiche
Fire/Warrior/4/1400/1600
When this card is Normal or Flip Summoned, roll a six-sided die. Pick up cards from the top of your Deck equal to the result and show them to your opponent. Your opponent selects 1 of those cards and adds it to your hand, but you cannot Use a card of the same name for the remainder of the turn. When this card is Special Summoned, send 1 "Sixth-Dimensional" monster from your Deck to the Graveyard.

Sixth-Dimensional Matriarch - Oielo
Fire/Spellcaster/5/2000/1500
While you control a face-up "Sixth-Dimensional" monster, you may reveal this card and roll a six-sided die. If the result is higher than the Level of a "Sixth-Dimensional" monster you control, you may Special Summon this card from your hand, otherwise take damage equal to the die result x200. This effect of "Sixth-Dimensional Matriarch - Oielo" can only be activated once per turn. At the start of the Damage Step when this card battles an opponent's monster, roll a six-sided die. If the result is 1 or 6, banish the opponent's monster and inflict damage to your opponent's Life Points equal to half that monster's ATK. If the result is 3, increase this card's ATK by 700 until the end of that battle.

Sixth-Dimensional Brawler - Palou
Wind/Warrior/6/1600/2500
While there are 6 or more "Sixth-Dimensional" cards in your Graveyard, you may banish 3 of them to Special Summon this card from your hand. When this card is Summoned, roll a six-sided die and apply the following effect based on the result:
1-2: This card's original ATK becomes 3400.
3-4: Change this card's battle position.
5: Banish 1 face-up card on the field.
6: Destroy up to 2 cards on the field.

Sixth Dimensional Gateway
Normal Spell Card
Activate only while you control a face-up "Sixth-Dimensional" monster. Roll a six-sided die. Special Summon 1 "Sixth Dimensional" monster from your hand or Graveyard with a Level equal to or lower than the result and inflct damage to your opponent equal to the result x100.

Sixth-Dimensional Sparkle
Quick-Play Spell Card
Roll a six-sided die and apply the following effect based on the result:
1-2: Until the End Phase of the turn, "Sixth-Dimensional" monsters you control are unaffected by your opponent's card effects.
3-4: Destroy 1 card on the field. This effect can only be resolved if you control a face-up "Sixth-Dimensional" monster.
5: Inflict 500 damage to your opponent's Life Points.
6: Inflict 600 damage to your Life Points.

Sixth Dimensional Kingdom
Field Spell Card
During each player's Standby Phase, roll a six-sided die; This card increases the ATK of all "Sixth-Dimensional" monsters on the field by the result x100 until the End Phase of the turn. Once per turn, you may re-roll the die result of a "Sixth Dimensional" card. If this card would be destroyed by a card effect, you may send 1 "Sixth-Dimensional" card from your hand or field to the Graveyard instead.

Sebia's effect say's it's name is sixth-demensional scout sebia but as it's actual name is sixth-demensional recruit sebia, still a balenced card though. Some people might think Elder is broken but I think the ability to choose whether you re-roll is what makes him useful. Turba is more useful then elder or sebia because you can summon with his effect, the return to hand bites though. I will do more tomorrow.
