Not-so-Radiant Arin
Discard 1 card: Banish 1 card on the field until the End Phase. Then, apply the appropriate Effect based on the card Banished: * Monster: Your opponent Banishes 1 card in their hand, then draws 1 card. * Spell: Send 1 Monster from your Deck to the Graveyard. * Trap: Add 1 Level 4 or lower Monster from your Graveyard to your hand.
Because if everyone hates backrow just as much as I do, they will praise this card. The only reason your opponent draws 1 from the Monster effect is because it's already a -1 if you use this on them. And also, OTKs exist. But mostly, this will be used for the Trap effect. Discuss. Zazubat
well the problem here is that you won't know if they were trap or spell cards, which might actually make it more balanced, cause right now, it's somewhat broken because of banish plus return effect all in 1 discard. This can be used to get rid of monster pretty easy, and screw up lots of tactics, it's a counter for Inzektorz easy. I am not too sure about this card right now, though there are very unbalanced cards, and this might become a semi-limited if it were to be realeased. Also, who gets to choose which card is banished? It looks like it would be your opponent, but it isn't too clear. also, use bullets instead of asterisks, it looks nicer

Also, in regards to the first sentence, the discard happens as a cost, the Banish happens, then it checks that card (because it has a period between it, it is counted as two separate effects), and then the appropriate effect happens. Mainly I wanted to keep the effects minimal and not over the top and ridiculous. Oh, and also about the asterisks, semantics. -__-
