Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
"During either player's turn: You can send this card from your hand to the Graveyard and pay 2000 Life Points; for the rest of this turn, you take no damage. If this card is in your Graveyard: You can send 1 "Photon" monster from your hand to the Graveyard, except "Kuriphoton"; add this card to your hand. You can only use this effect of "Kuriphoton" once per turn." It's a multi-purpose, chainable Swift Scarecrow for the cost of 2000 Life Points. This card recently came to mind when I was building a "Chain beat" deck, and while it might not work so hot in that deck, a Chain Burn deck could use this card as another Waboku, from the hand. Basically increase your chains while also saving your Life Points, and it's not susceptible to end phase MST. It can also save you from burn damage. It's also useful in Hope for Exodia/Chain draw. Bahamut - Envoy of the End
Hooray for hand and graveyard trap, life saving plot devices. From anyone who prefers flair over substance. Even in they are either rubbish in a competitive sense or promote Exodia. This one is kinda better.
evilfusion
The problem with the card is obvious: Pay 2000 LP. Yeah, no. Too expensive and the time when you really want to avoid damage, you probably dont have 2000 to spare, nor a -1 you can afford. Sure, it can save you against being OTKed, but so can Swift Scarecrow and Battle Fader. And they dont cost 2000 LP.
Wildflame
Makes Hope for Exodia more risky and more profitable. Other than that, meh.

newhat
A classic costed upgrade. In exchange for 2000 Life Points you get chainability, Burn resistance and Graveyard setup. Chain it to Shock Master, I guess.
guuu1234
It's ability is pretty useful for stopping an OTK. I used this against a chain material OTK deck and the guy had no idea what to do.
Exiro
For stall decks: summon Photon Sabre Tiger, thin deck by fetching two more, keep those two tigers as fodder for Kuriphoton.
