Synchronized
DTS-EN001 Fabled Rialgos LV3/LIGHT Fiend / Effect You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by discarding 1 other "Fabled" monster. If this card is Special Summoned this way: You can send 1 LIGHT monster from your Deck to the Graveyard. You can only control 1 "Fabled Rialgos". DTS-EN002 Meteoric Wave Normal Spell Card If you control a "Jurrac" monster: Target 1 card you control and 1 card your opponent controls; destroy those targets. If this Set card is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard: You can add 1 Level 4 or lower Dinosaur-Type monster from your Deck to your hand. Random, Hidden Arsenal-inspired support. Both, I think, adds to their respective archetypes without being too broken. Rialgos allows Fableds to get stuff like Kushano in the Graveyard far more easily, and Meteoric Wave provides Jurracs with a solid 1-for-1 that can also function as a RoTA. Blake
So... Rialgos is an inferior Nozoochee? The level is one higher, but I'd rather have the extra summon from hand than a dump that's only gonna be useful in dumping Kushano, which is back to one per deck with TGU @2. After Kushano, you wouldn't want to dump again, making it nothing but a vanilla discard outlet that isn't even a Tuner. It's just... inferior to everythign the deck already has. Not sure on ruling, but can Meteoric Wave target itself? If not, it's a -1. Being a normal spell makes it too slow to be of any real use, even as a +0, so there's no real reason to run it. They'd rather use the space on something other than a +0 at best. The second effect is okay, but when is that realistically going to be pulled off in the deck without relying on your opp, Heavy, or comboing with itself? It just doesn't seem realistic enough to depend on.
Rialgo I suppose works well for a Rank 3 engine, and admittedly I'm not a Fabled expert but from what I understand based on my (very) limited knowledge, Nozoochee isn't even run, is it? Either way, this offers another option and a discard outlet while also providing a mill. Is it outclassed? Maybe. It was random more than anything else. The second one though, yeah, it can target itself. Basically meaning you can pop itself and an opponent's card, making it a +0. But if you can't use it, you can still bluff a Heavy/MST and get a search, so it works both ways. It'd have to be run at more than 1 though in order to be of any real use. newhat
Meteoric Wave can't target itself just as Double Tornado can't target itself. So it's a -1. And few Dinosaurs benefit from being destroyed, so I don't see a combo.
