Looked at Debris targets. Ran into this.

System Down and CyDra are better imo, but this can hit on the opponent's turn.

Also, Konami has some sort of anti-machine fetish.

probably because machines got a lot of support for just them over the years and konami has backpedaled on that ever since

OT: flip effect is very slow but it can shut down some very aggressive plays that wouldnt normally be hit by cydra.

i suppose it has some potential as a side. maybe in a deck where you dont have as much spell room as you would monster room. *shrug*

This counters such a narrow range of things compared to Cyber Dragon and System Down, or even Acid Rain. Killing the opponent's Machines after their Main Phase is lousy.

?????

this stops battle phase shenanigans which neither of those can do?

im not saying its any good but stopping stuff in the battle phase before it hurts you isnt a bad thing.

Most Machine-based Decks (Machina, Geargia, Gadget, Karakuri, Cyber Dragon, Salvo, Genex) do their stuff in the Main Phase. The only two this might be good against are Phantom Beastcraft and maybe Karakuri if they flip it with Burei.
