Instant Spell Clone / Spell / Quick-play
Pay 500 Life Points. When this card activates: Select 1 Normal Spell Card in either player's Graveyards that was not used in this turn, your opponent's last turn, or previously this turn: target it, then remove it from play; this card gains the Normal Spell Card's effects. If the Normal Spell Card that was banished for this effect has to stay on the field for its effect, send it to the Graveyard during your next Standby Phase after activation. If this card was activated during your turn, you cannot Special Summon monsters for the rest of this turn. Cards whose name was banished for this card's effect cannot be used for the rest of the turn.
[quote&name="Instant Spell Clone"]Pay 500 Life Points and target 1 Normal Spell Card in either player's Graveyard that was not activated since the start of your last turn; banish it, and if you do, activate the effect of the banished Spell Card as this card's effect, also if that Spell Card has an effect to remain on your field after resolution, this card remains face-up on your field until your next Standby Phase.
...in case you want to use it with Swords, right? Anyways, it's horribly overpowered since unlike Diamond Dude you get to pick what you activate, so in addition to Dark Holes, Monsters Reborn and Heavy Storms, you can pull off 500-LP Ojama Delta Hurricanes and so forth, as long as they're in your Graveyard. This is to Diamond Dude what Chaos Emperor Dragon is to Dark Armed Dragon.
Swords is a Continuous Spell Card. It's only Normal Spell Cards here.

Really?

OT: Nothing that newhat already said. It's pretty dangerous in an environment where so many powerful Spells exist. Perhaps if it was just a regular Normal Spell instead of a Quick-Play (which would require a clause that didn't target itself), it would be less powerful. It would still be borked, but not as much as it currently is.
