Aix
Welcome to the forum. To save you a lot of trouble, read the Forum Rules, also read the rules for each individual subforum before posting in one. It is also a good idea to look around at other people's posts before posting yourself, just so you don't look stupid. More advice: Don't use this cardmaker, use Yugico instead, Yugico is better in that it is not glitchy and it has Xyz Monsters. Also, it is easier to copy image URLs from Yugico than here. Here, you'd have to save your card to your computer and upload it to Photobucket or something and copy the image URL from there. Have fun and [s]don't[/s] do drugs

ihop
Not sure if this would be classed as post-point spamming, but thank you very much for the lovely welcome and helpful tips! Thanks & all the best, Menaphos.
Nah, the rules on spamming are reasonably lax here and post count isn't particularly important. But welcome to YCM, don't hesitate to ask people for help as most people here are very friendly.
ListenToLife
Make sure to check out other areas of the forums, and not just reside in the card-based sections. If you're specifically focussing on your creativity, I'd suggest places like Creative Writing and Roleplaying for stories - my bias is saying Join those sub-forums now, but it's your decision. Also, remember to be friendly and open. Everyone here differs in some way in their opinions; you are bound to disagree with them somewhere, and if you do, remember to be respectful of their right to that opinion. The best way to gain respect and quickly - interacting with people in a friendly and respectful manner. PS: While the colour change is good for the originality and setting yourself apart from others, keep the font at standard size. No-one likes massive font; it's a pain to read.
