Try The Big Cattle Drive.

lolno

The Big Cattle Drive is absolutely awful. Why would I want to give up spells in the name of situational drawing?

It's only good with Peryton plays, and chances are that I used Pillar the turn I make my first/only Peryton play. After that, Cattle Drive is completely winmoar.

Isn't the point of this deck to use cards like the Fire Kings and Sacred Phoenix? Sorry if I'm wrong I've only played against this deck once or twice.

The point of Hazy Flames is beating the opponent down, sitting on Cerberuses because of how they search everything in your deck pretty much, and making Rank 6s when you need to get over something.

You use cards like Firedog, Onslaught, Peryton, and Cerberus to thin the deck to fill the grave and prep for when you get Rekindling, if ever.

Fire Kings don't mesh that well here, from what I've seen.

Hypogrifo? Over Gryps?

200 DEF which makes it a fire dog target, another Rekindling Target, and is a decent beater on its own over a bad CyDra that punishes me for using anything not FIRE? Yes, please.

Though I do wanna neg 1 Hypo.

The Big Cattle Drive works with Cerberus, Mantikor, and Sphinx. Considering how quickly you can spam these out, that card is very useful. You should also try Onslaught of the Fire Kings. Here is my Hazy Flame deck and it has worked wonders for me. And you honestly don't even need Flamvell Dog if you have Onslaught in the Fire Kings in your deck..

You don't "spam them out" that quickly and it's totally win more, considering you only draw 1 per type you have. then you give up Spells ad setting cards. Not worth it.

Flamvell Firedog increases the Cerberus I get quickly and is a target for Onslaught, should I desire so. It's been testing absolutely fine. Consistency > Spam.

1) The Big Cattle Drive is awful because it shuts down EVERYTHING after its use. you cant activate spells or traps or monster effects. for a maximum of 3 cards. 2) he already runs 3 onslaught.

OT: im not entirely familiar with Hazy Flames, but have you tried Fire Ring? it would let you swap out a Hazy Flame for a better one in grave if need be and can trigger Mantikor.

Problem is that Fire Ring ONLY works well with Cerberus and maybe Firedog.

I could tech one, but I'm not too sure.

Ohh, ok, the only time I had ever seen the deck played, it was based on people getting out the Fire King beater and Phoenix, and everytime they got destroyed, my field would get nuked next turn, which was pretty annoying.

I know how Hazy Flames work, as they are one of my favorite decks, and I don't entirely follow what you mean.

He knows them better than you.

Thought I'd say that before this gets out of hand.

OT: Do you think Breakthrough Skill would be better than Fiendish for stuff like Verz or does it work just as well?

If you get Bottomlessed on a Peryton Play, you pretty much lose, as one of your Cerberus' was just removed completely and you payed 2 to lose said piece.

This keeps that pain from happening, because people often wait until after Peryton because they wanna kill more.

Of course, if they catch on that they should hit Peryton itself, there's not much you can do aside from Lance, but at least they're not killing your Cerberuses and are only getting a 1-4-1.

It's a surprise factor, mostly, and it's a decent beatstick in its own right with a built in protection effect that can make easier pushes for game.

I don't really like Breakthrough Skill, and I'd rather use Veiler here before it. Otherwise, Fiendish has been testing fine, but verz is Auto-GG if I don't have Chain/Dark Hole/etc.
