PLEASE answer the pole after seeing these guys, they are both for my upcoming stories...

So let me tell you about them...

Twilight Fiend Knight, [TFK], is the main character's Ace, (like Yugi's Dark Magician and Yuma's Utopia), which is why he is 2500.

Dusk Fiend Knight, [DFK], is the main character's rival's Ace, (Like Kaiba's Blue Eyes and Jack's Red Dragon Archfiend), which is why he is 3000.

Also, PLEASE, rate,fix,hate,like, etc.

Dusk Fiend Knight doesn't have any restrictions whatsoever. It's a 2-mat rank 4, so the amount of ATK it should be at is 2200-2500, except it's a 3k beater that's incredibly easy to make and upkeep. Other than that, all the rest of the card seems to do is put the ATK on a leash, but its other effects barely punish you for controlling it. Overall, the card design is just iffy. Twilight Fiend Knight is also an easy 3k beater for no cost. I'd honestly lower the original ATK to 2200 and make the boost last only until the end phase. I'd also simplify its first billeted effect simply by saying that it's a piercer.

Yeah, and twilight is crazy overpowered with Monster Reborn or Call of the haunted. Also, with Dusk, it doesnt say it's destroyed if you don't remove a Material. Plus, Skill drain + Dusk is too good..

The cards are too easy to get out and have too good effects for rank 4s. Gem Knight Pearl should always stay the strongest in that section.. these cards would make that utterly useless. And, these cards are broken

Well, I have to keep it tradition. The main guy's card is 2500 and the rival's card is 3000. It's never been changed before and I can't change it, sorry.

But as for the effects, TFK uses its effect after the Xyz materials are used up so it would be a whole lot more useful.

For DFK, I know I had to make him 3000 and with the same summoning condition for TFK so, as you said Sora, I had to put him on a leash.

As for more about these two cards in my story, I can't really share much:/

Im still trying to develop the theme and such but I wanted to start out with the 2 aces before anything and base the story around them

I might not even use these Aces cause I have more in mind that I will make a pole, like this one, and I will decide based on the poll.

First I would like to state that you are following tradition in shallowest of senses the rivals card has always been a dragon and has something to do with being a level 8 and if they don't their ultimate form has 3 heads

Blue White Dragon> Blue Ultimate Dragon
Cyber Dragon > Cyber End Dragon

Red Dragon Archfiend > Red Nova Dragon

Galaxy Eyes Photon Dragon> Neo Galaxy Eyes Photon Dragon

As for the cards themselves TFK is just excessive. I've never seen an Xyz monster that is better off for NOT having material. It goes against the purpose of Xyz. Those effects should only work when a material is detached...you know like a cost for all of that line of text.

DFK is the opposite though sure its a free 3k beater but its really just a slow Acid Golem...actually since lifepoints don't matter much its really just free beater because why would you ever do the third option. If you're attacking a facedown you pick option 1 and if you intend to do more than 500 points of damage you pick option 2. Yeah I'm not really a fan of that. It has the illusion of being on a leash but its really not. Though I hard press to find anything  to suggest because whatever that is will end up being...well Acid Golem.

Wow. I completely forgot about the dragon part....

But as for the cards, the point for TFK was to get rid of his materials quickly and inflict damage, then, you activate the better effects.

The piercing damage is just minor really and the last one is to give a lil' more of damage to the opponent.

DFK, however, was an easy summon 3k beater it HAS to have some sort of drawback.

And tell me: cutting your half points and half, tributing 2 level 4s, and placing it in defense position for four turns - that's not enough? All for a 3k beater with no effect? Hows that so easy to risk?

Why would pick the third effect though? You have the option to either pay some some random amount of damage, 500 lifepoints, or half your lifepoints blah blah blah. No reasonable person would ever pick the third option. Like I said before if you attack a facedown choose option 1, if you attack another monster in attack mode choose option 2. You would NEVER willingly choose option 3 ergo its pretty much non-existent. Making this thing a better Acid Golem

Also the Rival's monster majority of the time is level 8
