So Very Cunning

Normal Spell Card

Target 1 face-up monster you control and 1 Rank 5 or lower Xyz Monster from your Extra Deck. The Xyz Monster is banished; overlay the face-up monster you targeted with this card. That monster has the effect of the banished Xyz monster.

 

My OCG is most likely completely incorrect, but you can see where I was going with this right?

It would be quite broken, being able to use any Rank 5 or lower.

 

Still, a fairly amusing concept, I'll admit.

 

Purely for the sake of correcting the OCG a bit...

 

"Target 1 face-up monster you control and reveal 1 Rank 5 or lower Xyz Monster from your Extra Deck; Banish the revealed monster, and if you do, attach this card to the targeted monster as Xyz Material. That monster gains the effect(s) of the banished Xyz Monster."

 

Probably not a perfect fix, but a little better.

Definitely lots of shenanigans could be pulled here. I see the attempt to balance with the fact you would only have 1 Xyz Material to detach. The concept of the card is original and that is the important thing here. So perhaps slightly overpowered. Maybe add, that you can't Special Summon the turn you activate or any battle damage done this turn is changed to 0. Otherwise, I really like the card.
