Honestly, I can't tell if this card would be any use at all...

 

This card cannot be used as an Xyz Material Monster. When this card is Summoned; Look at your opponent's Extra Deck; Reveal1 Xyz Monster. If this card is destroyed; Banish all monsters from your opponent's Extra Deck with the same name as the revealed monster.

Monsters in the Extra Deck cannot be targeted as they are not public information. This could be rewritten as

Yeah it seems to be a recurring problem for my anti-Xyz cards, getting rid of one card isn't good enough but getting rid of possibly 3 is too much.

Why is getting rid of 3 too much? Just get rid of all Xyzes with the same name in their X-tra Deck.

Well the last time I tried to have a card like that, I was told it was overpowered, so I tried to stay aware from that. Would it really be balanced?

in my opinion, no. Getting rid of all three of your likely most useful/powerful Xyzs seems a little much. What would happen if the targeted monster was then summoned? Would the effect still apply?

hmm...perhaps I could say from the Extra Deck, meaning that your opponent would still have a chance to summon them out and save their monster. Would that perhaps balance it out?

I think so, yeah. If you're going to set it to three, give them an opportunity to get one out there before it's taken down. It's pretty much inevitable, so I think a partial way out is only fair.
