2 Level 6 Monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 material from this card to look at your opponent's hand; target 1 card in their hand, and banish that target. If this card has no materials attached, return the card(s) banished by this effect to the owner's hand.

Edit: Once per turn: You can detach 2 Xyz Material Monsters from this card; Look at your opponent's hand and banish up to 2 cards from it. If this card leaves the field; return the banished cards to your opponent's hand.

Now less nonsensical thanks to ~Renegade~! The more concise effect should do wonders, but I still ain't sure if two banishes from the hand is too much.

I love this card. I think not only is the effect balanced but it finds use as a late game to card to stop your opponent from setting anything dangerous plus with a solid attack that makes it trample most creatures i give this card an 8/10.

Well thanks. I envisaged it being used late game, as a way to keep tabs on your opponent through seeing their hand and pulling out the more troublesome cards.

Had to check this out. The name drew me in.

Honestly, the effect seems clumsily written. This is how I would've phrased it.

No person in their right mind would actually use the effect twice, so just detaching both materials would be fine. Anyway, it isn't a bad card and seems to be balanced fairly well.

The wording threw me. I just couldn't simplify it. But now you've shown me that, I can't believe I wrote it any other way. You know when you just can't get it right, well, yeah...

I think you're right, I'll make it a two material detach, and let the effect run until the end of your opponent's next phase. Scratch it; it works better just killing it off, as you're opponent will focus on taking it down.

Thanks for the advice.

I totally get what you mean. Happens to me a lot. No problem.

I'd include it to return the banished cards to the opponent's hand whenever it leaves the field. Otherwise you can Compulse it and bam, there go those cards.

Actually, when I was going over the effect, I was thinking of that and honestly think that it would make the card underpowered. I think you can keep it as it is.

You do realize that cards like Confiscation and Trap Dustshoot that have similar effects were banned, don't you? And this one does worse to the targeted card than either of them.

Honestly, forgot about them...but this card also takes more of a set up. You have to get to Level 6s on the field...although that may not be very hard with Hazy Flames or Frognarchs...alright then. I'll bite.

I Like cards with unique effects, and this has a unique effect. i don't think that two banishments is too much, because if he loses all his materials, then they get returned.

Also, it's a turtle. :)

That's the old effect of the card. The newer effect doesn't have much to do with his materials.

When did you change it to banishing 2 cards from the hand? I could've sworn it said 1. I think 2 might be a bit OP'ed.
