Before we start: Anyone who complains that Angelic Guide's art style doesn't match the rest will be ignored on said comment. Also, anyone complaining that the archtype "Doesn't have yugioh art" needs to take a look at Prophecy Destroyer and the Noble Knights and will also be ignored on said comment. Also, anyone trolling about the above will receive no satisfaction whatsoever. Finally: Set's based on this guy and pictures are not owned by me but randomly searched. If you find an image that you own and need taken down for whatever reason please just ask me over pm and I will comply. And quickly, no hard feelings to Tepig, but when people are reviewing your card sets don't go and call them "Nimrod" :/ ALSO: Spoilers hate me so no spoilers When this card is Normal Summoned while you control another "Nature HERO" monster: You can draw 2 cards, then switch this monster to Defense Position. You cannot Special Summon the turn you activate this effect. Starting off I tried to balance Mr. Pot o' Greed here. Somewhat modeled after Cardcar, but I didn't feel the need for a Tribute or Ending the Turn because it's already Deck restricted by the fact that it needs a Nature HERO already. When this card is Summoned: Switch it's Battle Position. If this card is in Defense Position, it can still attack, and if it does it can attack your opponent directly. So he gave it a burn effect. I said "Screw that" and gave it an "Attack directly when in Defense Position" effect. Honestly I don't think it's that bad but then again I've done badly designed cards before :< If you control 2 or more "Nature HERO" monsters with different names: You can Special Summon this card from your hand. You can only use this effect of "Nature HERO - Guardian" once per turn. You can Banish this card from your Graveyard and target 1 "Nature HERO" monster you control: It can attack directly during each Battle Phase this turn. I don't like Vanillas, so I made this guy an Effect monster :/ Made to incorperate Spam while also giving something on the field a direct attack. Not sure if I should do more restrictions but time will tell. You can Tribute Summon this monster by tributing 1 "Nature HERO" monster you control. When this card is Normal or Special Summoned: Target a number of face-down Spell or Trap cards equal to the number of Spell or Trap Cards you control; Destroy those targets, then Special Summon 1 "Nature HERO" monster from your Graveyard whose level is equal to or less than the number of cards destroyed. I liked this guy in the other one (Shadow Warrior or something if you couldn't tell), just I didn't think it was good :/ So I eased his summoning conditions in the deck at the cost of making his effect a bit less powerful, but incorperating some spam recovery. Somewhat of a mix of HERO Blast and Spellbook Judgment day if you will I guess :/ Once per turn: You can equip this monster to 1 "Nature HERO" monster you control OR unequip it and Special Summon it to your side of the field. A monster equipped with this card gains 500 ATK and DEF and can attack twice during each Battle Phase. After a monster attacks a second time with this effect: Your opponent adds 1 lvl 4 or lower monster from their Graveyard to their hand. (A monster can only be equipped with 1 Union Monster at a time. If the equipped monster would be destroyed, destroy this card instead.) Another Vanilla, so screw that UNIONS!!! With how unions work I figured I had to do something decent while keeping it fair. Originally was going to have them draw a card but that just seemed like it would be too much risk for the cost. Otherwise I honestly don't think he's good but why not :D "Nature HERO" monsters you control gain 500 ATK and DEF. Once per turn, when a non-Fusion, non-Xyz "HERO" monster destroys an opponent's monster by battle: You can draw 1 card. Once per turn during your Main Phase, if you control a "HERO" monster, you can Normal Summon or Set an additional time. Monsters Summoned with this effect cannot attack the turn they are Summoned. So small attack boost, Double Summon as well as a free draw for your non Extra Deck HERO cards. I think that's enough for a Field spell. Yes there's a reason I excluded Xyz btw :/ COME AT ME BROS!!! Toffee. Posted March 4, 2013 Report Share Posted March 4, 2013 5 Star topic, and I absolutely love your own original characters.Also Dreadnaught seems out of place, mostly, for the name. So make him something gimmick-sounding, like "Land Defender" or something. Speaking of which, Dreadnaught seems a bit situational. I mean, even if you DO destroy 2 of your own + 2 of the Opponent's to revive a Level 4. I mean, nothing is wrong with that, just... Seems a little underpowered.
