Zazubat
Quite simple card, made because I fought some Madolche which used Ultimate Offering to keep looping for more monsters, quite smart, but also extreamly annoying, so this card stalls that a bit. I might need some sort of cost, but it also makes you unable to.LORE:Activate only at the start of your opponent’s Main Phase: Both players cannot Summon monsters with the same name as monsters they Summon this turn and can only Summon 1 Monster with the same name (printed) as monsters they control until the End Phase. Any face-down monster that is fliped face-up with the same name as a monster Summoned this turn is flipped face-down and effects don’t activate at this time (monsters are not considered to have been flipped face-up).Rulings*2 monsters can be Summoned at the simultaneously (Ex. Scapegoat or Nimble Musasabi), but not if there has already been Summoned 1 monster with the same name that turn.*Both players can Set monsters, but they cannot be flipped face-up (when tried, it simply flips them face-down, and no effects activate at this time)*You can activate this card during your opponent's Main Phase 2, but only monsters after this card's activation are affacted. Sander
Summon Limit exists and does the job of this card far more efficiently. Really, this card has no merit against pretty much any deck. I mean, what kind of deck would Summon more than 1 monster with the same name of a monster that they already have had Summoned previously? That situation only really applies in Elemental Dragons, given how easy it is to Summon 2 of them that share a name, but even then, they don't have to do so if they're faced with this card. tl;dr: Card is bad and accomplishes nothing. Also, this only lasts until their end phase, so you might be set back yourself during your turn, unless your deck plays with a lot of different monster names (edit Summon Limit says times not names I just realized, so forget that). This is also somewhat useful againts Constellar and Photon-Galaxy. I also mentioned the Madolche and Ultimate play, where you can use Magileine not work, but if you had to, you could simply use Summon Limit (funny how I made a card with almost the same name and almost same effect). I was thinking, even though this in some cases outclasses Summon Limit, and some others (as Summon Limit keeps being on the field so your opponent can't summon multiples until they get rid of it) should I add an extra thing, such as "monsters with the same name can't attack this turn" or something like that?
